Characters are 1030-630 today. Dopey and goofy. Photo pass photogs for those 2 and none for the big number signs.


The line for bibs is crazy. It enters on the leftfield side of the baseball field, has 1 switchback along the right field line, then around and out to rightfield with 4 lanes once you get out from under the building. Then back toward “home” and then there are 6 lanes between the ball field building and the bib pickup building. But we are pretty much walking non stop

The dopey hoodies run super small with no stretch, and were almost sold out at 11:00. I had a CM go check in the “go back” area for an XL as I could barely get a large on and needed help getting it off.

It sounds like they broke the bib pickup line trying to fix the merch shopping line. I'm going to give it another couple of hours and hope things die down.

I would be curious to see how long of a walk the line ends up being.

It wasn’t bad- probably .7 Mike total (didn’t start watch right away) and constantly moving. Because I’m not Dopey I split off from the main group inside where there were no lines, so I can’t speak to how that process was.

I got group 2... Got in around 945am...I bought 2 pins and left. There was really nothing exciting about this year's merchandise and I grew up in the 90s.

Seriously? Sold out by 11? This is so disappointing. And frustrating to see stuff on eBay already.

Good grief I should have just stayed in FL after NYE… flight delayed 2.5 hours and counting and now deplaned.

What time is everything open until? I know I could look it up, but feeling annoyed and pouty.

My group 32 call was right on time but with the line inside waiting I decided to thank runDisney for saving me $$ and skipped the expo and merch
heading to the resort pool for some fun

Same here. I’m sure Disney won’t be sad as someone else will spend the money but I will be saving mine. Not interested in waiting around another three hours just to get into the place.

Well this is fun. Our group just got called and we’re still sitting at Beach Club waiting for a bus. It’s been over 30 minutes. We gave up and called an Uber.

Sitting at the airport waiting for my flight (delayed two hours and counting). Can’t wait to get to the Poly!!

Today has been full of first-world problems:

• one of our group of 7 was bumped from 1st Class (booked with points. my mom volunteered to take the downgrade so I could help take care of the three kids)

• we got to the airport too late to get to the Capital One lounge (since rectified, thanks to the delay)

• I missed Wordle for the first time… ever? I didn’t make any errors per se, just got stuck in a trap

I’m getting all of my bad luck out of the way up front. And recognizing how truly blessed I am to be able to take this trip at all.

Whoop, flight is cancelled. We’re rebooked for tomorrow night, losing 30+ hours and our DHS day.

The important thing is just to get there, but this is a bummer…
