I hated the 90s the first time around - I do not ever need to experience it again lolol! I'm glad so many are excited for it, though.

Late 80s/early 90s kinda blends together. This theming reminds me a bit of Saved by the Bell, maybe Clarissa Explains it All, a bit of Nickelodeon. And the artwork seems very early 90s Disney.

I agree, these designs have a real 80’s feel! Dare I say they are quite rad!

I think what many people think of as "80s" really spans that period between 87-93. The neon colors and shape art were what I had in the early 90s for sure. Makes me think of the intro to Saved by the Bell, which was '89-'93.

I had already talked myself into doing Dopey, now I HAVE to do it!

Still doing the races because I'm in it more for the experiences than the shirts/medals, but the themes don't work for me. I'm a 90s kid, but that late 80s/early 90s style of clothes doesn't hold any nostalgia for me.

Glad a lot of people like it though! It's great that Disney does such different colors/designs every year. I still remember so many people complaining about the dark green Merida 10k shirt they did for Princess weekend 2018, and it's my favorite Disney race shirt ever.

I was wanting to do a Turning Red costume but was waiting for themes. I think I am going to do a red panda costume with 90's workout gear on, so like have the headband and arm bands, etc on... with red panda ear, tail and fake fur pants and shirt (printed on). Thoughts?

They had increased it already for W&D, so I'm not surprised this one got changed as well.

I was born in the late 70s. So I was a preteen-young teen in this era. Tons of nostalgia for me!

Yeah basically. It’s always going to be a problem to an extent but it seemed pretty bad this time and it’s something they can fix partially by doing this.

Question re POT - my marathon time was 4:37 last year (I blame it on the VERY congested start) but I'm hoping to finish sub 4:30 this next go ahead. I assume I can't submit that and choose sub-4:30 still so I'll get placed in a further corral?

I was feeling very pro-High School Musical for a marathon outfit but this theming makes me want to do all 90s characters… (plus maybe TLM). Ack! If anyone has ideas on making HSM 90s let me know lol.

Don't forget they're doing a Rescue Rangers movie, so that could be why we have Chip and Dale. Of course being born in the mid-80s, I did watch the cartoon

Turning Red is a great idea! I love it, and love the overlap with the theme!

I want to avoid characters I've done for halfs (Belle/Mary Poppins) in favor of my other character faves - Mickey for my first full, thinking Indiana Jones for one of the races (though I'd have to deal with the hat, so maybe the 10K for that lol).

Can I say I'm so impressed by everyone that runs with a costume? My idea of a costume is themed fabric sewn into normal workout clothes. I'm thinking of an outfit to match Mickey's for the full, and one to match Goofy for the half. But I also wonder if that would be too out there, and no one would see the connection? I don't know yet.
