The Up ornament is fantastic!SAFD: no costumes, but I admire those who do!

		 I felt so good at mile 18 I decided to just ease up a tad and see if I could make it happen, if only for my own mental hurdle. Something about getting to that “10k” left mark has soothed a lot of my nerves. I’m a little waddle-y, but no serious pain that would suggest injury or pushing too far. I made major adjustments to my fueling, found out that salt caps are going to be essential, and successfully completed 40 miles over the last four days.

		 No ornaments on our tree this year sadly due to the gangly rescue we adopted at the end of October. He is a straight Great Dane and German Shepherd mix, and when he plays with the 100+ pound Ridgebacks things get out of control quickly.
