Marathon Weekend 2017!

Corral D for me for Dopey. I have never run a sub-4 hour marathon in my life and I won't be doing so on Dopey day 4, so I may move back a few corrals for the marathon. Oddly enough, I have submitted a POT within about a 3 minute range for all four Dopeys and I have moved up 1 corral each year.

Answering my question! I just called, and they said late registrations will receive an e-mail with the waiver.

Good to know. I have her watching her email now. If she hasn't switched she would have been in M with me - our bib numbers are 35 numbers apart.

H for me for Goofy. DH is in G but he'll be a sweetheart and drop back to run with me. We were in K when we ran Goofy in 2015, so I'm very happy with the improved corral placement. Getting soooooooo real now!!!

D = Dopey for me.
My wife is B for the half (only) and our time was only 1 minute apart.. guess they add time to dopey for the marathon possibly. We both submitted a half for our POT.

As far as the Dopey does anyone know if that will be your coral for the 5k and the 10 also?

Did you do that in the same race or by switching races? Cause switching from Goofy to Dopey would make that pretty easy

I'm with you. But I'll say "oh well" too! Based on my current POT, I thought I could be in C. Based on the POT I actually submitted, I anticipated D. But I'm in F! For the 2015 WDW marathon, I started in E and I've improved my times since then, so that was confusing.

I did call runDisney just to check. They answered right away, checked my records, and explained that, because I submitted a half marathon POT for Dopey, they added 13 minutes onto my estimated marathon finish time.

In the end, it's all good. Again, my goal is to complete Dopey comfortably and have fun. All of this just prevents me from going out too fast or being too ambitious.

I'm in I - same Corral as 2015. I'm mostly happy with it, just not what I was expecting. But it's probably appropriate since I'm not as fast as I used to be.

If I would have stuck with Goofy I would have been in I but with Dopey I am in M.

Hmm. I'd ask about that!

I'm in the same corral for the half as I was for last year's Dopey with a better POT. Oh well, I know what kind of time I have for photo ops and such then! Seems like corrals are more competitive than last year!

They don't release them ahead of time. You can only guess at this point until you pick up your bib at the expo. Same for the 5K.

Pure blood sweat and miles for the single-entry Disney marathon my friend! Last year I had no POT for my first Disney marathon, so by default I ended up in the back (and rightly so), but this year for my 2nd marathon it took 4 half marathons but I finally managed to get a decent (2:10) time to qualify for a low(ish) bib number...

I am in B for Dopey, just missed A as I predicted I would. My mom is in H for her first marathon. I think that's about right for her. She's physically capable of a 4:30, but I anticipate being her first (and other reasons) she'll be closer to 5 hours.

You can get a general idea from your registration. The 10k corrals are based on estimated finishing time you placed there. The further back on the drop down menu you selected the further back corral you are. But nothing official until expo.

Not the same. The 5k/10k Dopey bibs will be close to this based on the corral listed on the chart.
