Okay!! Got DD26 into the half marathon! And submitted the transfer form via email. So YAY!! Now to wait and see if I get a refund lol!

Okay, that is what I will do. To make it more complicated, the refund will go on DD27's card so I will be nagging her to check constantly lol.

Regarding weather - I don't mind starting to look around now. Obviously, things could change between now and then ... but, given my years in Florida, even this "far" out, it's still relatively true on what the overall temp would be. Granted, I leave for Florida in about 10 days, and I stay a lot longer than most participants but I like having a general idea of what I need to take with me so I don't have to go shopping for, say, a heavy coat because it's in the 40s or something insane.

Granted, I leave for Florida in about 10 days, and I stay a lot longer than most participants but I like having a general idea of what I need to take with me so I don't have to go shopping for, say, a heavy coat because it's in the 40s or something insane.

True story: when I first moved to FL 20+ years ago, I got rid of all my winter jackets/coats. The following winter was one of the coldest on record, lol! I now own 2 down jackets, 2 wool jackets, a wool dress coat, and a whole pile of fleece pullovers/jackets. And I wear each one at least once, usually multiple times, each winter. Live and learn, right?!
