I freaked out a bit when Active.com was "stretching their quads" about 15 minutes before opening time but once everything was up, registration was pretty easy.

I was able to register myself for Dopey; my 10-year-old daughter for the 10k, 5k and mile run; and my wife for the 5k. I think it took me a total of 12 minutes to do it all and only sat briefly in a virtual queue for two of the registrations.

Hope everyone gets into the races they want either this week or when general registration opens next week!

I got in the for the 1/2. (Yay!!) I'm wondering what time the Kids races run? Is it possible for them to run the Kids races after I'm done with the 1/2?

I'm in for Dopey! I actually made it in without getting the little running man this time. I was a little worried since I had to register on my phone (and while at MK). Since someone on here mentioned that you had to clear history in order to get the AP page to show up, that helped a lot. Thanks!!

I may have talked my mom into running the 5k with me - so I may have to go through the sign up process next week also!!

did the refresh refresh refresh and it went from 10k on hold to "sold out" Had a second where the active page popped up but then kicked me back to on hold page.

should I keep refreshing even if it says sold out?

Well, I made it in to the 5K but couldn't get DH in - we'll try next Tuesday when regular registration opens.

This will be my first race (DD and DSIL ran 5K in 2014, hope to run it again in 2017 with us), so I'll be back here seeking encouragement as I train....

No - it is sold out. I was just on the phone with runDisney - confirmed that the Dopey, 5k and 10k are sold out.

If you call Disney you can book now, otherwise online booking won't be released for 2017 until June sometime.

Wish I had seen this before! I got registered by googling and was able to find the page I needed thankfully. But I would have been really frustrated if I couldn't find it through google. I cleared my history and boom, page is working now.

The Kid's races were held Thursday, Friday, and Saturday this past marathon weekend and they all started at 11:00 AM. So, to answer your question.... Yes.

I've heard that the early registration bibs up for grabs only make up 5-10% of the total bibs available for each race. With the 5K and 10K, 7,000+ of the available bibs are taken up by Dopey runners.

Assuming 12,000 runners in both the 5K and 10K, and 7,000 bibs already allocated to Dopey runners...that's 5,000 5K- and 10K-specific bibs left. So if it's true that 5-10% were available today, you were competing with every other AP holder/DVC member out there for 1 of 250-500 bibs. It'll be much easier to get in next week.

Unless you're in the worst case scenario you should be fine.

Last Half corral starts ~6:30am
Slowest possible finishing time (3:30) ~10:00am
First Kids Race (100m dash) starts at 11:00am

This would be a tight window (getting from EPCOT to WWOS). But as long as you're not in this situation, then yes you should be able to run the half and then do the Kids race afterwards.

Does anyone know a way to get the Active link ahead of registration time for next week? I saw one posted in advance for the Disneyland Half over Labor Day weekend. I know it is much faster to go straight through the Active link and not through Run Disney.
