This isn't the one I was looking for but it works. Basically, you have signed up for the race so now your only choice is to be strong. Now just embrace your decision and enjoy the process. The long runs can be boring at times but when I get bored I just picture the end result, which is me getting to go to Disney and run through 4 parks. And the training runs just make sure I will be standing and able to enjoy it while I am there.
Hi there - jumping into this thread as you wonderful people provide so much great information and encouragement! I am signed up for the Dopey challenge. I did the Princess half in 2012 and got hooked on Disney races, then did the full marathon in 2013. I have been more focused on triathlons since then doing 2 half Ironmans and one full IM but I can't wait to get back and run in WDW again! Planning on following the Hal Higdon plan if anyone has any experience or input with that I would love to hear it!
. I would like to do one of those one day... two things need to happen first.

i know i can do it no problem, i'm just worried she'll think she can do it no problem too and will have a bad wake up call on the day of the 10k and be really sore after.
