Is it some sort of blanket to sit on because they figure we will be waiting around for our teammate?

My runners are not taking them to race. They are in college and think they will be nice for soccer games and outdoor activities.

I am not taking it either. I have a rundisney Mylar sheet from the last race to sit on, and I will keep the cute little Disney pad! :)

I'm taking mine in my check bag. As runner 1, it will be nice to have something to sit on afterwards and do my stretches. I usually do them on the grass at Epcot.

the volunteer that gave me mine said it was a butt warmer :lmao:

I was runner 2 and I brought it with me. It was great to sit on! Then I put all of my stuff in my bag and handed it off to my partner when she crossed her finish line. :thumbsup2

Oh and also, anyone else disappointed that there weren't RELAY pins?

No. I was perfectly content with the marathon pin I purchased, even though I didn't actually run a marathon. :rolleyes1

Did you see my comment on FB that I did buy the Chip 'n Dale pin?

Lol.

Yes I did! It is a fitting pin, I'm glad we at least have that. :)

And hey, weren't we supposed to get a baton?

Oh and also, anyone else disappointed that there weren't RELAY pins?

I used my toosh cushion as a pillow. And the Mylar sheet as a cover up and took a nap while I waited for my runner #1.

I was wondering about the baton as well. I am a sucker for collectable stuff. And yeah, what the heck was up with the lack of merchandise for the relay? One stinking tee shirt? pfft

We asked about the baton at the goody bag pick up and they hadn't heard anything about it. They told us the one from Wine & Dine was dinky though. :confused3 I still wanted it, dinky or not. lol

Todd~That's a neat pic of your medals! :)
