How is Mara for breakfast?

Staying at Animal Kingdom Kidani....On way to Hollywood Studios that day! Want a good CS for breakfast before HS!!!

Any suggestions for breakfast counter service on dining plan? What about Earl of Sandwich for breakfast? Someone mentioned that Artists Palette was good at Saratoga Springs!

Have car...No problem with transportation...

The Mara was great - but it's usually very busy!

If I had to pick - I would choose Saratoga's Artist Palette! It's one of the most unique CS breakfast options out there, and their flatbread breakfast pizza is amazing!

How are Breakfast Sandwiches at Boardwalk Bakery?

Is Boardwalk Bakery on Dining Plan for Counter Service???? Thanks!

I think they are fine, but leave more to be desired. . . they are not great. Our only issue with the bakery is that the choices are so limited, that if you think the breakfast sandwhich does not look good, really your choices are yogurt and cereal. Although - they have great coffee and lattes!

BW Bakery is a good option for getting in and out fast. You could easily park at BW for the day, and the walk to DHS is probably about 15 minutes. . . of course, there's always the boat too!

Anyone know if at Boardwalk Bakery, bacon,egg,cheese on croissant..
Can they substitute either roll or bagel for croissant?

Is Boardwalk Bakery definately counter service on DINING PLAN???????????????

BW Bakery is a good option for getting in and out fast. You could easily park at BW for the day, and the walk to DHS is probably about 15 minutes. . . of course, there's always the boat too!

Please don't park at the BW or at any resort and go to a park for the day. Use the correct parking lot.

IMO the Mara's breakfast was pretty lackluster. Sad, because it's good CS for lunch or dinner. Don't get me wrong - it was warm and edible. It was just nothing to write home about.

Sadly, we hated Boardwalk Bakery. I had a tomato, egg and cheese croissant sandwich, and after waiting through the long, miserable line, it turned out to be not warmed through. In fact, it was cold in the middle. Waiting in the line again to have it warmed was not a viable option, so it went uneaten.

We actually were more impressed with CS at the Beach Club, but I certainly would not go out of my way for it.

What about Starring Rolls or Writer's Stop at DHS?

Mara's breakfast was okay. Two of us shared the Bounty Platter and it was more than enough. The bacon was sad, but the sausage was tasty. The eggs weren't bad, either, and I'm totally picky about eggs. I went the fruit and yogurt route a couple of mornings and was pleased. My son also got a danish from the bakery counter and it was pretty good. My only problem with the Mara is the size. It's pretty teeny and fills up fast. Beware of birds if you eat outside. It was pretty crowded in the mornings, but we ate dinner there once and it was deserted. We enjoyed eating our burgers and watching the old Mickey and Pluto cartoons.
