I got the Mickey heads from the paint card sample colors at Home Depot. On the way down I cut them out and stuck magnets on the back of each of them!! Lots of people would stop and look at our door. The poople across the hall from us wanted to decorate their door after they saw ours and they used coffee filters, straws and used tape to stick them to their door!!!

If your children attend the kids club at all I would encourage them to do the Friendship Rocks program. It was fun for us to watch, and they also got a tshirt and Mickey graduation ears. I don't know what they get now that they changed the program.

Neat....so the paint chips are already mickey's head?

I love that you all are in matching fabric on board the ship. Too cool. Did you make all that?

I was soo bummed to hear that they changed this program, I was really looking forward to the graduation. I hope the new one is just as cute!! By the way, I love your pictures!!

I did not make our outfits..I bought them from Disney Shopping. I have been working on some outfits for my DD to wear on this trip. I have started sewing since our last trip.

Oh sorry!! Yes, the paint chips are already in the shape of Mickey Heads. The Alien Green is the official color of the DIS boards.

Our Last Morning on the boat. It was so bad my DD was crying because she didn't want to leave.

Sorry if i posted to many pics...I was having fun. I have all kinds of pics from what the inside of the steamer trunk looks like to our food at dinner. If anyone wants to see anything in particular just let me know I may have a pic of it!!! If I don't, I'll just have to take a pic so the next time I can share them with the nice people in the cruise meet thread!!

Yeah, I'm a bit concerned about the temperature of the water too. (as per other posts) Well, we'll see what we can do. I hope the water in the ship's pools are fairly warm.

~v:beach:

If my memory serves me right...The pool temp is a heated 82 degrees. I believe it also tells the pool temp on one of those info channels on the TV in our staterooms!!

Ok, Here is my first attempt at posting a picture:

You did a great job posting. Your door is adorable.:thumbsup2 How did you do the mickey heads? (in the different colors)

p.s. what is the deal with the boarding card....something I should know? ;)

The eariler you get to the port the lower number boarding card you receive. #1 is reserved for the cruisers in suites. The ship is loaded by the boarding card number, starting with #1...and so on. So, the lower the card number the sooner you get to board the ship. It was a really big deal on our first cruise, but I don't know if I'm going to let it bother me as much on this one. Some people prefer arriving at the port later and then just boarding without having to wait. I'm just all about getting my vacation started asap!!!

Oh that's good to hear the pools are warm. I couldn't imagine going on a cruise and not going swimming at all. Yes, us being from the south, we are used to the water being very warm. Gee, can't Disney warm Castaway Cay up like they do their pools? Hee Hee :rotfl:

I really, really do want to go snorkeling. So, if you see a lady out in the water wearing a wetsuit, please don't laugh. It might be me. :beach:

BTW, I loved all your pictures. You have an adorable family. I will probably be like your daughter on the last day.

Thanks for the info on the mickey magnets. Hey, Viv...let's try to go to different Home Depots so we don't whipe them out of their samples. I've got the one in Mansfield. ;)

Thanks so much for sharing your photos, Lee Ann! I'm even more excited now!

No apologies necessary!!! I was going to say thank you for posting them. I may have missed it, but what was your cruise -- 3, 4 or 7 night?

Wow, less than two months!!! :cool1:

Anyone else starting to pack? :rotfl2:

I'm only half kidding. I've been using the cruise as an excuse to go clothes shopping for my girls. I'm confused about what we need to wear. There's no formal night on a 3 night, correct? But there is a "dressy night"? Should I bring a suit for DH? We're not doing Palo's...just our regular rotation.

Is anyone staying in WDW the night before? We'll be at SSR and driving into Port on Thursday morning. Hopefully early. Is there much to do in port after checking in but before boarding?
