How is the filet with this sauce on top; I read it was very sweet. Does it take away from the flavor of the filet or not? Also has anyone tried the mushroom topped filet ... is it a sauce or just mushrooms on top. One more thing, my son would love to get the salmon, but wondered if he could get potatoes with it, like fries, instead of the vegies it shows on the menu.
Thanks!

I had the maple glazed filet when I went, and really liked it. I didn't think it was too sweet. The mashed potatoes that came with it were awesome.

I had the maple glazed bbq chicken sandwich and it was fantastic! The sauce for the sandwich, if the same for the filet, was quite overpowering though...

I thought is was good, a little sweet. But i actually will order it without the sauce next time. I think i would prefer it without, i rather save the barbecue sauce for Chicken and ribs. I would maybe ask for it on the side, to see if you like it first.

We ate at Le Cellier this past Saturday and I got the mushroom filet and DH got the Maple Glazed BBQ on the advice of our server. DH liked mine alot better, he said the BBQ was a little too overpowering for his taste. Enjoy! THIS PLACE ROCKS!

My wife and I and our steak fanatic son love the Maple glaze BBQ filet. It just melts in your mouth.

I had this entree last Monday night- It was fantastic! Everything we had here was superb. I didn't find it "too" sweet at all. Get the chocolate cake for dessert- it was to DIE FOR!

I heard the chocolate cake is fabulous; but, so is the chocolate moose! We ordered it off the kid's menu last time and it was my favorite dessert at WDW so I'll have to get it again.

Woo Hoo!! I just made my advanced res. today for our 5th anniversary dinner here!! I can't wait!!

I ordered the maple glazed filet & H ordered the mushroom one. It looked like his filet was just on top of the risotto that had the mushrooms & sauce in it. I thought mine tasted just like a regular bbq sauce, not really sweet at all and not overpowering if you like bbq. Both filet's were excellent and very tender tho I prefered mine since it had a better flavor and H's was pretty mild in taste. And I LOVED the mashed potatoes.

I was really disappointed in it and thought the sauce overpowered the meat. I really wish I would have gotten it on the side...

The Mushroom Filet is incredible. My other favorite dishes here are the cheese soup with pretzels and the maple cream bruele.
