Wednesday 14th August ~ Day 14
It was our last full day, so we decided to go to Magic Kingdom. Now it was EMHs there, but only for the little ones, we wanted to get there before the main crowds at 9am so I think we arrived just before 9am. Well we were completely shocked ~ the park was empty.
We rode Big Thunder Mountain twice with no line at all and then we rode Splash Mountain with a 10 minute line. Pirates of the Caribbean was a walk on and as we exited, the Pirate Tutorial was being set up. Well this was loads of fun. Captain Jack and his mate Mack were choosing little ones out of the crowd to learn how to sword fight and run away. It was very funny and the Captain Jack was quite a good likeness.
After that, Paul & I had a pineapple float (lovely) and then we wandered over to Buzz to pick up some FPs. We rode the TTA and had chicken dinners from Cosmic Rays.
Becky had some photos taken with Stitch and then we rode Buzz (with me losing yet again). We walked over to Fantasyland and watched Mickeys Philharmagic (ooh, I love that apple pie smell).
I had one last look around the Christmas Shop and bought a couple of decorations for my Christmas tree and finally we had cookies & cream ice creams from the Plaza Ice Cream Parlour ~ and all this by 1.30pm.
We went back to the Pop and Paul had a last sunbathe while I did some washing and packing (no fun !!).
Around 5ish we went to the Wal-Mart on the 192 to do our final souvenir shopping of t-shirts etc and I had all my photos deleveloped (about $73 in total as I had them all done twice). We then popped to the LBV outlets where Paul bought me some Converse trainers and a pair of trainers for himself (woohoo buy one, get one half price).
We went back to the Pop and I finished packing, and then Paul & I went to the bar for our final Bahama Mama.
We got to bed around 10.30pm and we set the clock for 5.45am as we were hoping to do early check-in with MyTravel in the morning.
