Thursday 1st January ‘09 New Year’s Day (High 65F)
Oh dear, what a day, and boy were we suffering
We pretty much felt tired and hungover all day
We didn’t get up till nearly 11am, and we didn’t eat till gone 12
A strange thing did happen that morning though. When Paul got up, he checked his phone, only to find that he had no credit. So he arranged more credit, and in flooded some text messages, mainly from people wishing us a happy new year, but one text did stand out. It was from Ian and it said something like ‘Help, I’ve lost Jules, will you help me find her’
So we sent Ian a text and later on found that all was well (I will let Jules explain what happened that night, should she ever get round to typing up her trip report 
) 
It was rather cold today, so once we’d eaten, we all decided on a quiet and easy day. We went to DownTown Disney for some shopping and Festival Bay for the girls
We had dinner at the Pop and as I wasn’t feeling too good (headache, stomach ache and feeling bloated) we decided to chill in the room and we had an evening of watching ‘Americas Favourite Videos’ (the US equivalent of You’ve Been Framed). As I was feeling very uncomfortable, I changed out of my shorts and put my PJ shorts on
Anyway, today was the day that our friends Kelly, CW, Chad and Carolin (who we met on the Disney Wonder 2 years previous) were coming down to WDW for a few days before getting the Cruise on Sunday, and we were all looking forward to meeting up with them the next day
As I was settling down for the evening, our phone rang, and Kerry asked me to come next door. So I legged it round to find Kelly and Carolin standing there. I couldn’t believe it, I looked a right mess, so after giving Kerry a clip round the ear for not telling me to get dressed properly
(not really, though she did get a right glare from me), we all had a chat and arranged to meet up the next day
I bet I was asleep by about 9pm that night
Sorry for the lack of any photos or anything interesting today. What happened to the days when I could roll in from a night club at 3am and get to work for 8.30am ??
