Just been looking around for Hotel & Parking the night before we go next Sept.

DF 'must have' is that the car stays at the hotel & isnt transferred anywhere & mine is as close as possible to the airport!

We are looking at the Holiday Inn which is about 3 miles or so away, anybody stayed there? it is coming out at £119, is this reasonable?

Cheers Guys

If you want the car to stay at the hotel then I would recommend the Crowne Plaza which is also just across the road from the terminals - about a 5 minute walk into terminal 3 through the multi-storey car park across the road from the hotel.

You can book a park and stay package with the hotel - on checking in you get a form to complete with your vehicle and return flight details. You hand this in at the Holiday Autos desk and let them know which section of the car park you are in. We have used this a number of times and our car has always remained on site.

On your return you get a courtesy bus back to the hotel where your keys are waiting at reception. YOur car will have been moved to the rear area of the car park which seems to be only used for this purpose. If you are lucky, the bus driver will run into reception for you, pick up your keys and then drive you round to your car.

The hotel is also very nice with comfortable rooms.

Another vote here for the Crowne Plaza. We did this in Oct rather than parking only off site. It meant that we had an extra hour or so in bed, less hassle and got dropped off right outside terminal 2. The room was clean and comfortable and the car stayed on site.
If you are a Frequent Virgin you also get 10% of the booking price.

I think this hotel was the manchester moathouse they've changed the ownership. We stayed there twice and would recommend it.Good pool and bar was freindly.

i would recommend booking via holidsy extras too but we're going on holiday in May, flying from Manchester (not going to Disney though) & their web site is only showing 4 options at the moment.

Haven't tried phoning them though.

Another vote for Crowne Plaza - our car stayed on site, but I think they reserve the right to park it in a lot if they need to. We had a good nights stay - and were picked up etc. from the airport, but food was terrible in the hotel!!!!
