Manage Plans for other Children?

I could use some help with this situation:

Group of 12

There are 4 children in the group, I am the parent of 2 but not all 4.. I am however, trying to manage the plans for the entire group.

According to Disney's website, if the parents create profiles for their children, they MUST be the managers of the plans for the kids. They cannot turn them over to someone else to manage.

Is there any way around this so I can manage the plans of all 12? The big issue is the lightning lane reservations. When I make those each day we of course want to be able to make all 12 at one time and in one group.

You are confusing "manage" with "make plans." The children's profiles are managed by a parent. You need to link as Friends & Family to not only the parent but also the children (and all others in the party). That will allow you to include everyone in the same plans. You can make plans for all.

I did this in February for a group and honestly the easiest was calling Disney to assist--we tried for hours across multiple days, after all how hard could this be (4 adults, 4 phones, numerous laptops).....Disney assisted in minutes

There were some threads last month reporting problems with booking lightning lanes for groups larger than 10. I don't know whether those issues have been worked out. But, if they haven't, getting the other children into your Family & Friends group may not be the cure-all that you are hoping for.

Thank you for the responses so far. Sounds like adding the kids will not be the issue but having a large group might be when I/we try to book lightning lanes. Fits in with the difficulties trying to get dining reservations for large groups as well.
