Mama Melrose's

I need dining reviews for Mama Melrose's, as we may try it for the first time in April. Has anyone eaten there lately? It will be me, my hubby and four princesses.

Hi. Mama Melrose's doesn't always get very good reviews, but when DH and I ate there we really enjoyed it. The flatbreads were really good as were some of their toasted subs, but I'm not sure if they still have the subs. This was last year when we ate there, so the menu may have changed a bit. If you're looking for a place to eat in Disney's Hollywood Studios with children, I would suggest Hollywood and Vine. We've always enjoyed it and when we went with our friend's and their children a few years ago, the boys loved it. It has a lot for children to choose from on the kids buffet.

We are doing H&V breakfast, and I wanted to do HBD for dinner, but hubby heard one person say he didn't like HBD so he doesn't want to eat there. I just don't know what to do, maybe I will plan for HBD anyway since we have delux ddp.

Mama"s has been the best food we've had in DHS

We loved Mama Melrose this past September. We had excellent service and the food was really good too. Here's what we ate.
Tomatoes&Mozarella

I had the Spagetti Diavalo

DW had the BBQ Chicken Flat Bread

We also had the choclate cake and gelato for dessert but no pics. The cake was good, but the gelato was ice cream, not true gelato.

I am convinced, We will try it. It is certainly better than going to a CS (one of the reasons we are doing delux from now on) and we all love italian food.

We ate there last week. I thought the food was okay. Nothing to get excited about. The service was horrible. Our waitress was so slow- drinks not refilled, dishes left on the table, etc. We won't be going back. She was the only server that I didn't tip at least 18%.

My DH and I really enjoy it. He had the breads for the appetizer and really enjoyed them. I have had the four cheese flatbread pizza and thought it very tasty. DH had the Chicken Parmesan and loved it. We have always had good service.
