Mama Melrose?

I am new to the whole Disney scene so I need to ask....
I am planning to get the Fantasmic package. I'm not sure which restaurant to pick. We looked at the menus and seriously NOTHING jumped out at us as something we would eat! Its probably great we are just not familiar or unsure of it.
I figured MM b/c I'm going with teens and its italian so maybe they can have a pizza ...I see no pizza there on the menu so question is do they have like a buffet with a variety that would have "teen food" on it.
We rarely eat out and when we do its Chilis, Chineese or you guessed it...PIZZA!!!
I'm not sure what to do, I would love the "benefit" of the package.Any advice or imput on if there is a buffet at this restaurant or the other two that can be used for the package? Thanks All!

Well they have what are called flatbreads...these would be your pizzas. Hollywood and Vine is a buffet, it would be great for teens. Alot of plates can also be altered so if you see something but do not want lets say the crab you can remove that from the dish, dunno if this help

We have done Mama Melrose three times now (twice for Fantasmic). I always have the four-cheese flatbread pizza and it is very tasty. My husband enjoys the chicken parmesan. We are not big fans of Hollywood & Vine and do not think Brown Derby is worth two credits a person.

We tried Hollywood and Vine two years ago and Mama Melrose this past trip. We did not care for Mama Melrose and prefer Hollywood and Vine.

we really enjoyed mama melrose. we booked there, as pathetic as this sounds, because my favorite food is tiramisu. the food was great, portions were big, but the tiramisu was horrible. our ages were 6,11,17,24,27,31 and we all had something different, and everyone loved it.

We had great seats at Fantasmic in February without doing the package. Seriously, if there's nothing that looks good to you don't wate the money - just get there fairly early and you'll get a good seat!

We dined here last night. I had the Butcher Steak and it was very good. The only complaint that we had with this meal was the fact that the food was not hot enough when it arrived at the table. We also had the same issue at the Concourse Steak House. Not sure why they can't get the food out faster. Other than that, we would dine here again.
