Mama Melrose or Hollywood and Vine

I want to do the fantasmic dinner package but I can not decide between Mama Melrose or Hollywood and Wine. It will be me, DH, DS6 and my cousin(16). We are big foodies, ie- if choosing between good food or good atmosphere it is food all the way

So... opinions??

I haven't been to Mama Melrose, but Hollywood and Vine was okay.

I'm picky, and found some chicken to eat-can't remember what else I had. I believe there were some seafood dishes. I can't even remember what was on the children's buffet-I can usually find something there to eat if needed.

I'm not sure how fast the Fantasmic Dining Pkgs are filling up, but grab whatever is available.

DEFINITELY MAMA MELROSE! I feel like it is so underrated. Everyone in my party loved it! I am also part Italian so I am a pretty tough critic Great appetizers, entrees, and desserts.

Oh, I would say Mama Melrose also. We were not overly impressed with Hollywood & Vine, but had a great meal at Mama Melrose with the Fantasmic package.

H&V is so bad, no way would we ever go back there again....I would pick MM

I would chose MM for the F! dinner package only because H&V is inedible based off of our (DW & I) experience there. It was dirty inside, our server was less than fully attentive (plates stacking up, was around for maybe 1 refill of DW's beverage, not once for mine), and it was a buffet that we actually left hungry because the food was so bad. We're not the most adventerous eaters, so for a Boma buffet, I'd say it'd be possible (even though we have done that one with much success), but at H&V the food was just bad. Even the desserts weren't good enough to fill up on, so we ended up having a couple snacks that night after the "Worst. Meal. Ever!" at WDW. So even though we haven't been to MM, I would vote for it over H&V based off of our experience at H&V.

I do like Mama Melrose, some of the food is a little spicy though.

Not A fan of H&V ate there twice, 1 breakfast, 1 dinner. Both times did not care for the food. Will not return.

We've enjoyed the buffet at H&V - nothing fancy but decent buffet food. Mama Melrose is OK - kind of equivalent to the local Olive Garden. Food is edible but way overpriced for mediocre Italian food.

I would say Mama Melrose as well. We had the BEST cheesecake there, it was to die for. H&V is ok for breakfast, but I wouldn't do dinner there if you are "foodies".

lol...I've never been to MM, but since I did eat H&V, I woulda voted MM too! Nothing really wrong with H&V, just nothing special. Buffet. I coulda got it at Golden Corral
