Mama Melrose or 50's PT for lunch?

Our kids are 3 and 6, and I wanted an 11:30 reservation but could get 11:15 at 50's PT and 12:00 at MM, if that makes a difference.

Never been to 50's prime time, but Mama Melrose is one of our favorites. My kids (6 and 1) love pasta and it's a great value on the dining plan. There's not much as far as entertainment for the kids, but it's a great meal. Love the tomato/mozzarella/balsamic salad as an appetizer.

I also would go with Mama's! We love it there always had wonderful food and service, 50's on the other hand was a bust for us. So-so food and our server there was one of the worst on our trip.

You will find folks that love/hate both...Good luck & have fun!

We try to do 50's on just about every trip...we love it there. Only one time have we had a less than wonderful experience.
But Mama Melrose's just doens't get it done for me. The first time I ate there, it was good, not great, but good. Our server was terrific and I was there with a bunch of good friends.
But when I returned, the next year, with just my dd, it was miserable. The food was barely edible..our server was awful!! She was either hovering around or not there. I know, I know..very contradictory. But, when we were first seated, she was always there, asking if we needed anything more, how was our food. But, as soon as she asked how the food was, she disappeared. Never got our drinks refilled, took forever to find her to get us our bill, then another long time to get her to take the payment. It was bad enough that I don't want to ever go back.
