Anyone ate at mama Rosa's lately? We ate there many years ago and really enjoyed it. How was the menu and quality of food?

I ate there last year. the food I thought, was good. I got the chicken pipette.

To my knowledge there's no resturant called Mama Rosa's at WDW - where is this restaurant?

We had a server named Holly and she was great!! I ordered the pork chop and it came with this 5 cheese pasta that my son promptly devoured off my plate. When she asked how everything was,I commented to her that my son really enjoyed MY pasta. She returned minutes later with a quite generous plate of the pasta for us to share.

Sorry, I meant Mama Melrose. We have a Mama Rosa's in Ft . Walton Beach, got them confused.

I wasn't sure if there is also a Mama something at Universal. And there actually is a chain restaurant in Florida called Mama Rosa's. Had they been asking about that restaurant it would have been necessary to move the thread, as posters do come on here sometimes and ask about offsite restaurants. Thanks to it being cleared up I don't need to move it.

Even changed the title so it won't be mistaken for a thread about the chain...

We had lunch there last year.We shared a couple of the flatbreads & a salad.
All was very tasty & it's on the list:thumbsup2 for the next trip.

Honestly, my Wood Grilled Tuna (medium rare) there was my favorite meal of the entire 8 day trip last year. Looking forward to going again this year. Yumm!!!!

The charred strip steak was also very much enjoyed by others in our group (medium rare)

We each had the chicken parm and we were a little underwhelmed. It was just okay. We are skipping it this year.

MM's is our favorite italian food in the parks....we were there in december a few times and once in August. We were all very happy with our meal.

It might not measure up to what I can get in Bostons North End or something like that, but its still very enjoyable for us.

We are planning to go back next week as well. Some of my family is going to Brown Derby but we are going to go to MMs instead!

I thought I remember reading that you could ask for rolls at MM. Has anyone done this and did you get some?

It's the only TS that I have gone to that doesn't serve any bread or rolls before the meal (not counting the buffets).

Ignore this I got confused! MM gives out rolls and oil to dip. It's 50's Prime Time that doesn't give out any bread or rolls.

As of August of this year it was one of our favorites, enough to have ADR's for December also.

For some reason, in all of our Disney trips, we had never eaten there and I didn't even know where in the park it was located. This past May we finally tried it and was pleasantly surprised...a good meal and good service and will definitely return.

I believe you can ask. I saw a bread basket on another table, but we were not offered bread. I though it was odd that you have to ask for bread at an Italian restaurant
