We had a server named Holly and she was great!! I ordered the pork chop and it came with this 5 cheese pasta that my son promptly devoured off my plate. When she asked how everything was,I commented to her that my son really enjoyed MY pasta. She returned minutes later with a quite generous plate of the pasta for us to share.
Why the rolly eyes? I was confused too at first. If a newbie came on and saw all these glowing reports of the restaurant, isn't it helpful if they know the real name of the place.
I wasn't sure if there is also a Mama something at Universal. And there actually is a chain restaurant in Florida called Mama Rosa's. Had they been asking about that restaurant it would have been necessary to move the thread, as posters do come on here sometimes and ask about offsite restaurants. Thanks to it being cleared up I don't need to move it.
Even changed the title so it won't be mistaken for a thread about the chain...
Honestly, my Wood Grilled Tuna (medium rare) there was my favorite meal of the entire 8 day trip last year. Looking forward to going again this year. Yumm!!!!
The charred strip steak was also very much enjoyed by others in our group (medium rare)
For some reason, in all of our Disney trips, we had never eaten there and I didn't even know where in the park it was located. This past May we finally tried it and was pleasantly surprised...a good meal and good service and will definitely return.
I believe you can ask. I saw a bread basket on another table, but we were not offered bread. I though it was odd that you have to ask for bread at an Italian restaurant
