It is 4 AM and I can't sleep anymore!!! I'm worse than the kids!! We are going to Disney World Tomorrow!!!!!!!!!

they are so cute!!!! megan was here looking at them all and said, Boy I bet you wish you could sew mom....yes I do!! the outfits these ladies create are so dang cute!!!

Woo-hoo, its only a matter of hours now!!!

I just wanted to stop in and wish you a fantastic and magical trip! The weather here is supposed to be really great for the next few days, upper 70's and some 80's.

Today we pulled off the last treat on our countdown calendar!!

Well tonight has been a busy, fun, oh and did I mention busy night!!

We got well wishes from my mom and Jason's mom. Both Grandmas are SUPER excited their little princess is seeing her wish come true. We stopped by my mom's house to drop off the grand dog and the grand fish (as my mom calls them ).

Then it was off to my sisters who is babysitting our other dog (we have two labs). Both my sisters run fashion circles around me!! And my sister who lives here gave me a special surprise when I dropped off the dog. She had tons of clothes Disney and non-disney she is going to let me borrow for the trip!! Now Mallory won't be the only going to Disney in style!! Between the family shirts and the clothes my sister let me borrow I am ALL packed!! Mallory is too!! Michael and Jason not so much!! Of course if it wasn't for Jason no one would be packed!! Thank you honey!!

In six hours the van will be here to take us to the airport!! We are getting picked up at 5:00 am!! Of course I had to share the send off party pictures with all of you!! After all who would want to see the send off party after we got back!!

Mallory's Send Off Party (2 days ago)...

The Wish Granters Made her Minnie & Mickey Cupcakes. The Cupcake tray said, "Mallory Goes to Disney World!

They also brought pizza!! Pizza and cupcakes, Mallory's favorites!!

Presents from Mom, Dad, & Michael!!

She got her Rudolph Play Set!!! There are 3 different Rudolph toys in there. When she opened it she screamed Rudolph, Rudolph, and MORE Rudolph!!! She knows Michael likes the little snowman guy so next she shouted Mike... look he's all yours!!! She is such a sweetheart if I do say so myself!!

She also got a backpack and presents from Make-A-Wish

It was a GREAT send off party!!! Make-A-Wish is AMAZING!! Dis Boards is GREAT!! And the BIG GIVE is FANTASTIC!! Now we know... Wishes do come true!!!

Well the title of this post says it all!!!

I wish for... New Orleans!!

Are you confused yet!?!

Let me start by saying I read the travel advisory from Make-A-Wish that says, something like the airlines are unreliable, so be prepared in the event your flight is canceled. As I read that I thought oh how sad for those poor people that happens too!! Never did I once consider that could be US!!

Here we all are in our Make-A-Wish shirts and the announcement comes... your plane has serious mechanical difficulties and it is canceled. We will do the best we can to get you out on other flights to make your connections!!! What?!? Is this a joke!! Are we getting punked??

Then my brain remembers I read something about this in the Make-A-Wish packet, but what did it say to do..... hmmmm.... think think..... That's right... It said don't panic... TOO LATE for that!!

So we wait for about an hour and while they try to make something work!! Then she calls us up to the desk. You know it is never good when she says okay you are the people we have bad news for!!!! She goes on to tell us there is no way we can get to Orlando today. Something about a Holiday weekend (darn those Presidents). But she does have an option for us. We can go to New Orleans!! Great now we just need one of you GREAT BIG GIVERS to whip us up some Mardi Gras!!!

So I call the Make-A-Wish girl and she is GREAT!! I was SUPER emotional by this point. You know this is her one and only wish and I wanted it to be perfect for her!!

So the new plan...

Fly to Las Vegas

Stop in Houston

Then to New Orleans

Spend the night in New Orleans (courtesy of Southwest)

Fly into Orlando Sunday afternoon.

And the best part!!!! STAY AN EXTRA DAY AT DISNEY AND GIVE KIDS THE WORLD to make up for the day we missed!!

Yay for free WiFi at Las Vegas airport so I could come and give you all an update!
