Malestrom fastpass

We are going August 12 to 23. I keep trying to make a fastpass for Malestrom. It won't come up as an option. I know it has moved to tier 2....but doesn't come up as an option. Any ideas of this is a glitch. I have tried both the app and the site.

I just booked my FP dates this morning.....Aug. 14th - Aug. 28th. No Maelstrom for me either. It doesn't come up as not available. It's just not there at all.

Edited to add Aug. 14th and 15th are available for FP....but Aug. 16th and beyond (I can only see until the 28th) nothing.

A Frozen ride? I've heard rumors, but I don't think anything has been officially announced. Hopefully it's just a refurbishment.

I was able to make a FP+ for August 14th this morning, but I didn't try for any days after that.

I was able to make one for Aug. 11, but it was not a choice for Aug. 16, our other Epcot day. I was so bummed.

It does make since, because it's been a while for Maelstrom, and that it seems like Disney over the last couple of years has concentrated on the MK with its refurbs, and that more than likely, more attractions at some of the other parks will start getting the love.

We're at WDW 21-31 August, and Maelstrom is a favourite of mine too. I too fear that Disney is planning to "characterize" this attraction, and I really hate that thought.

I wish someone would just hold a Disney executive down for a few minutes and explain in simple terms what Epcot/World Showcase is actually for --- and that is NOT to turn it into a movie-driven clone of the Magic Kingdom or Studios!! It has it's own unique identity, and should be developed and nurtured that way.

Sure let's have a Frozen ride (I love that film) but ADD one, and to the right park, rather than desecrating something else to do it.

As the spiel goes, "You are not the first to pass this way..." but sadly you might be the last.
