So you've got a make-believe land from an animated movie. Perfect addition to DHS, especially since DHS is in dire need of plussing up.

So of course, instead of doing that they stick the make-believe land in World Showcase among actual countries, gutting what many loved about Norway in the first place. Meanwhile, DHS sinks slowly but inexorably.

Sorry, I guess I can't "Let It Go"....

With Disney taking over the design and attractions in World Showcase, hopefully we get more rides. Or at least an update to that late 70's France movie.

This has made me even less excited about this ride. But I'm sure kids will love it.

I do like that they're doing something with the queue I guess... It was pretty bare before.

I agree it might not be at the right theme park. However, I think it is great to see a Frozen attraction, not just because of the movie. Snow Queen was an attraction concept at first. The concept of the original ride gave Frozen animators many inspirations. I hope to see some of those original concepts bring to life at this new attraction.

I laughed out loud about how dismissive Tom Staggs was about people's concerns regarding the location.

“If the goal is to give people a taste of something like Scandinavia with the Norway pavilion, then ‘Frozen’ would only increase the extent to which people would be drawn to it,” he said. “To me it doesn’t seem out-of-character at all.”

I was excited, but I'm hesitant of course. The fight for whether it's the right place or not is pretty much over, at least to me, it's not worth arguing. I just hope that if they're doing it, they do it well. Like, really try to make it look amazing. I wish it would be done later this year, so I could see it but oh well.

When this ride does open, it will consistently have loooong waits. That's a given much like we see at SDMT in MK. It'll help draw more people away from the small amount of headliners Epcot does have (Test Track and Soarin') which will hopefully drop their wait times. One can hope.

Sounds great to me! I too miss Maelstrom, but it was pretty dated. I am not surprised they are using the same flume track, and hey, they still have trolls!

Sounds great (especially for the kids) but wrong area. I don't mind seeing Maehlstrom go as it was never a favorite but they have to come up with something more appropriate.
