Male Birth Control Pill

I don't know if someone else has posted about this but I found it interesting.

I have to wonder if males would use it. I can't use BC because it messes with my system too much so it would be cool if there was another option besides what is already available.

If you want to know the honest answer to this there are 2 questions that must be answered - and this leads to more questions and so on...

What are the side effects? (guys generally dont like growing female anatomy on their chest)

And what will this do to the frequency and quality of the behavior leading up to the need to take the pill in the first place?

If those things fall in line, and makes a happy dancing banana, then why not?

But for some reason I am not sure that a male pill will encourage my wife to change her tune towards the "situation" too much either way!
And sorry I have to beat around the bush but this is the DIS. And yes that last sentence just might be double entendre!

I think guys would only be use it if giving an ultimatum

1) Get snipped, or
2) Go on BC, or
3) No sex

I, as a man, am personally offended by this statement....us men are SOOOO untrustworthy.

Side effects aside, sure I would take it as I SURELY wouldn't want to accept option 3 noted above!!!

Well it would have to be a trust thing. It is not something I would be willing to take their word on in a casual fling (no I don't have them) but if I'm in a commited relationship and don't want to have a baby I would consider this.

Guys have to trust women that they are doing what they suppost to be doing. It is just one of those situations were you have to take a risk no matter who your with.

Depends on the guy as to whether I'd trust him to take it or not. My dbf is better at remembering to take pills than I am! In fact, he always has to remind me.

Sigh, it seems so much harder to stop millions and millions of sperm (how many is that in a month if you do it every day?) then to stop one little egg. So I would worry that even a 1% fail rate means tons of swimmers! Eeek

Plus I am on seasonale - which I will take forever because I love this drug. I want no reason to go off it.
