Anyone use their products, (not interested in the buiness), but I used my mom's lotion while on vacation and loved it. But I have a problem with paying for the right to buy products (Costco, Sams, etc..). So I want to know if the rest of their products are good enough to make joining the club make sense. Thanks.

I've been using their products since 93 and really like most of them. As a family of 5 (now) it's easier to meet the monthly minimum purchase requirement than it was initially. If your into vitamins and nutritional supplements it's a no brainer, if your a minimalist and use vinegar to do 90% of your household cleaning then it wont work for you. ;)

We like everything in the laundry line, Solumel is a staple here and well as the rest of the cleaners (clear power, tub & tile, soluguard). Diamond Brite for dishes is the only one that doesn't leave mine cloudy and spotted w/out using a heat cycle. I have sensitive skin and SWEAR by the Nicole Miller skin care (Timeless rocks). The kids all use Mela Oil shampoo and while it doesn't smell as fun as "kid" shampoo teatree oil wards off lice which constantly flies around school and mine have never been effected. I really like the naturals soap (has oatmeal so a bit of a texture to it), and the kids love the kids body wash. We also really like their bandaids (they are fabric like) and LOVE the sunscreen (both spray and the lotion - not the lip balms though).

I am not a person who is big into lotions or "smelly stuff" so we skip most of that line, and I like my salon hair care items better then the mela hair and styling products for me. Their candles are really nice though and I will on occasion pick one up, but maybe once a year.

The way I have found it works for me is we are on a 3 month cycle and add in or remove as needed. So one month we buy cleaners (bathroom and house), next month is beauty (skin care, soaps, shampoo) and then the 3rd month is laundry and dishes, then repeat 1-3. If I need sunscreen or other misc items I add them in, but staying in my product groups helps me plan for purchasing so I never have to think of what I am running out of or what to get to meet point requirement. Also if you shop before the 15th of the month you get reward dollars (% of your purchase given back in points) which I basically ignore year round. Then in Oct or Nov I redeem my years worth of points and pick up a few gifts with them. It's a nice little bonus.

All that out of the way, I did do the biz end for a year, decided it wasn't for me but have remained as a customer since. I still do get small checks each month which is a nice little bonus.

If you do sign up even if your mom isn't doing the biz end, make sure you get signed up under her. this way she'll gets a little check each month for referring you. It won't be much, but an extra few bucks is an extra few bucks!

I LOVE their products... I did the business when I was pregnant with my first son up until he was over a year old... I just didn't have the time to devote to it to really BUILD, but I can't give up the products...
If you think you would have trouble meeting the monthly minimum points, you can always order through your mom ... if you don't live near her, she can ship it directly to you...
My mom and I actually "share" and take turns ordering every other month... some months she needs more, some months I need more... but we're both happy :-)

My mom has bought their products for a long time, and I get stuff through her. My favorite is there heartburn tablets called calmacid, nothing ever hepled me until them. I swear by them, and they don't taste nearly as bad as tums and work so much better. I also love the kids shampoo and soap. My son has sensitive skin and it great for him. The melaluca gel is great for cuts and burns, it smells funny but works great. My mom gets all her cleaning supplies, lotions, vitamins. We all love it.

I like most of their products and used them for about 18 months, but I was building up such a crazy supply by trying to meet the point requirement that I stopped as it was no longer cost effective for us at all. I would say that I didn't like them any better than other things I ended up buying. I did do the business. It was a horrific experience and would not recommend it to anyone.

I've been using their products since November and really like them. My son has autism so we are trying to get away from using stuff with lots of chemicals and such... their soaps, shampoos and cleaners are great. The toothpaste takes a little time to get used to... My mom & I share an account as well.

Thanks for the tips.
