Anything extra I should bring that is not the ordinary items that would not found in our villia or something that might make our trip more "special" if we brought it??

BTW..even though we stayed at BC for F & W for a quick weekend with points, this will be our 1st time using our DVC with my whole family so any help~info would be appreciated :)

Welcome Home!!! If you're in a 1 BR unit you must try the jetted tub. I usually stock up on "bath balls" from Basin and after a long day in the parks, there's nothing like a long relaxing soak in this tub. The bath balls offer a lovely fragrance and "explode" with color. What's left of the balls I keep in a sealed bag for the next trip; they're just not the same in a regular tub back home. :rotfl:

Bring whatever makes you and your family happy!! But I think you'll find that just being in WDW with your family is "special in itself" !!

Have a wonderful trip....

thanks ms wdw we will have a 2 bedroom for a week and can't wait!!

anymore suggestions??

Laundry soap and drier sheets is a must for us. Great to be able to wash stuff right in your room.

Oh you're going to love the 2 BR unit. Our family size has only called for a 1 BR or a studio. But I have to be honest; once you stay in a 1BR or larger you NEVER want to stay in a studio again!!! :thumbsup2

And yes; extra laundry soap and dryer sheets are important if you plan on doing more than 1 load. I love the fact that I don't bring home dirty clothes anymore!!

Coffee mugs! The coffee cups that are provided are small. DH and I like a BIG cup of coffee on the balcony. I also take Maxwell House filter packs and powdered coffee creamer with me. If you don't want to take them with you, purchase a nice large mug early and use it for the week then take it home.

Small themed beverage napkins - with Mickey Mouse on them, of course.

DH and I have matching bath robes that I purchased several years ago from Disney.com. Really nice to go to the spa, to the pool or relax on the balcony. I put on that robe and know that I'm on vacation! White with red trim and a little Mickey on the pocket. I added our names.

I don't carry the mugs or robes back and forth anymore - they're stored in our Owners Locker.

What about aluminum foil? Is that something we should plan to bring? I will be cooking all of our meals and foil always makes clean-up much easier. I don't remember if that is already in the villa or if I will need to bring my own.

Something we always bring with us is a can of Lysol for quick disinfecting and some antibacterial cleaning product like Clorox Clean-Up to clean the table and counters. We also bring paper towells just in case. There is usually papertowells in the villa but depending on how long you stay and how much you have to clean you might need more than is provided.

Agreed. Basin bath bombs are great. Just don't get one that has flowers imbeded in it. The jets will be shootin' out twigs and junk all over the place.

Yes; there is no aluminum foil provided so you would need to bring that if you're going to do some cooking and saving. Actually you just reminded me; I need to pack some of that!! We're celebrating my birthday this trip and DH has ordered a cake for me to be delivered to our unit. I know there's going to be leftovers so I need something to cover the cake with! :thumbsup2

Coffee mugs!

This has turned out to be a great thread for ME!!! I totally forgot about mugs!! Of course each time I go I always say "I hate these small mugs; I need my big one from home". And, I always forget it!!! I actually have two old refillable mugs from the BW that I can pack and they're nice and light. I don't need any more ceramic WDW mugs home; I could sell them I have so many!! :rotfl:
