Making res /dining?

Assuming we will eventually get a free dining offer (Aug 30-Sept5) is it better when I reserve now to include the plan and call back later for a credit or to wait and call to add when the plan is announced?

The dining plan has absolutely nothing to do with your ADRs unless you are reserving CRT or a dinner show, which must be paid in full at booking unless you're on DDP.

Because the reservation window has been changed to 90 days for all reservations, you won't be making reservations for August 30 until June 1. (My own trip is August 30 - Sept 7 so I looked up this date - not using DDP though)

Aha!

If you are making a package reservation you can always add the dining to it later, or change it to a free dining promotional package, as long as you do it more than 3 days before arrival.

If you are making a room only reservation, that would have to be cancelled and rebooked as a package to add the dining.
