Making On-line ADR's?

I'm sure this has been addressed before, but I've never made ADR's on-line, and I want to make sure I know what I'm doing, as my window opens up in a couple weeks.
At what time on the particular day can I start the process?
Will I be able to enter each ADR separately, or will I have to enter and confirm each one at a time? In other words, how fast will I usually be able to get thru the most popular ones?
I tried playing around with the system earlier today. When I tried to make an ADR for HDDR, there was nowhere to indicate which category seating I wanted. I didn't complete the process because I really wasn't making an ADR - just trying to get the feel of how it worked.
If anyone has any advice or suggestions, or can direct me to a stickey or another thread, it will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Gretchen
Just thought of something else: Will the system consider park hours? So if I wanted to book a TH Bkfst before park opening, would that be allowed? I'm assuming EMH and such won't be posted for August by Feb 3, right? If not, is there someplace where I can look up the data historically?
Thanks again....

I can only help with a few questions.

I believe you can start with the online process at 6am eastern time.

You have to make and confirm each ADR one at a time.

Hours from the last year are here.

I am new at this, but just completed my ADRs yesterday, so I can answer some of your questions.

Online res. begins at 6am eastern time. You can call beginning at 7am.

I booked 14 different ADRs and was finished in under 20 minutes. I did have everything written out ahead of time as far as name of restaurant and desired times. Online said Le Cellier was booked, but when I called later in the morning to book a Fantasmic package (it wasn't available online for some reason) I was able to get my exact desired time.

I did book Hoop Dee Doo. It does ask you eventually ask you to select a category. Hopefully this helped, and good luck.

As far as EMH, they will be posted before your 180 days.

Thanks, sunemom.
So it looks like on-line ADR's are the way to go since you get a 1 hour head start...
Good to know about HDDR - wanted to make sure we got Cat 1, if available.
I'm so glad to hear that the Park Hours will be posted before the 180day mark.
Have alot of juggling and rejuggling to do, I'm sure!
