Making my sons disney bday special

Any ideas?

We will be in Epcot on his actual birthday. According to TGM its the slowest park that day. We will be having dinner at the coral reef (he is a fish fanatic) and will be doing all the nemo stuff. Any ideas on how to make his birthday awesome?

If you are set on going to coral reef, did you know you can have a diver show up with a birthday message? Contact the restaurant for details. Be sure to get him a birthday pin at guest relations to wear at the parks. Another option at Epcot is the Garden Grill which is a character lunch or dinner where the restaurant revolves as you eat. It is a lot of fun and good character interaction..

Arrive early for you Coral Reef ADR and ask to wait for a tank side table. It'll totally be worth any wait.

I second that he has to have a birthday pin. Our son got all kinds of warm wishes and even some popcorn.

If you really want to splurge check out giftsofalifetime.com. Jane is wonderful!

Be sure to pick him up a passport for the WS. I am sure he will get many birthday wishes in all kinds of languages (be sure he has his pin on).

I have heard that the Coral Reef is limiting the divers in the tanks w/ the signs.. it doesnt hurt to call though...

Another idea is calling Coral Reef and making a personalized menu for him... CR cm's are very friendly and will help you out as much as they could w/ ideas! You can add pictures, write your family name on it and its a great keepsake.

Where is guest relations? We are going for the first time in June and we will be celebrating my DD 6th birthday too!!

I just made reservations and they told me there were no divers or personalized menus, the most they could offer me was a cake that I could order through another number. I have no clue the cost, cm stated she was unsure and I dont know if its really worth it, havent had time to call to find out. Does anyone know how I can contact coral reef restaurant to find out about the menu or the diver? I also am considering a cake, reviews anyone?

We took DD4 for her Bday the CM told us to have her wear her button all week and if asked say it was her BDay trip. She got all kinds of special treatment. Anything from a Happy BDay to free dessert. One CM arranged for a Happy BDay phone call to come into a store we were shopping in.It all made the trip extra special.

You can have the Disney Florist leave something at Coral Reef for him. We had a giant plush mickey with balloons left at Garden Grill for DD. She got it with her cake at dessert. http://www.disneyflorist.com/?source=header Once I knew what I wanted I called and spoke with Lindsey who was awesome!

We had the standard frozen small cake and it was just fine for $12.

Go in the entrance and move to the left. Pass the stroller rental, Pass the shop & SSE (be on the left of SSE). Right across from the side exit of SSE but before Electric Umbrella on your Left is Guest Relations.

also.. there is one outside the gates. If you are staying on property its on the right as you are walking from the bus to the gates. near the bathrooms. GOOD LUCK!
