Making Magical Express Reservation - allow plenty of time.

I called MS to make my reservation. I knew that since this is new anything could happen so I was prepared. Overall things were not that bad. MS had a problem getting into the system and I was placed on hold several times. Hold time was well over 5 min. once almost 15 min. before MS came back on line. I was booking for myself and my #2 DS and family on separate airlines. CM needs to record each person’s name, their address, what airline, the flight #, arrival and departure time. I was told a package would be sent out 21 days prior to reservation with all of our information and baggage tags. The phone call lasted over 40 min just to make this reservation. I'm sure things will go faster as the CM get use to the new program.

Hi, I just finished adding Magical Express to our May trip and the phone call took just over 6 minutes. I was only booking for my husband and I and only for the pick up as we are staying at POP for our last night.
 
Maybe they will let us do this online so as to save the money time it takes to write all that down by hand!!!
I think it is a great service ...and I'd hate to see it flounder because it was costing Disney too much money !

Oh well...tell us how it goes when you arrive. I usually get a cheap fare into Tampa and then drive longer to WDW but I've considered paying more for my flight to take advantage of this service....just will have to wait to see how it goes tho. Keep us posted.
