40 days!!!! It's amazing how things work out in the end. It will be an amazing time regardless how many days you are there! I went last July for 3 days and had the time of my life.

Really hope we run into each other! I might be wearing a "just engaged" pin as well!!!

I am excited that we are getting closer. I wish I had more to talk about in my PTR though, I feel like I'm boring everyone to death now that my day by day details are posted.

Yea Monday night around 6pm or so which means we should get to Disney right about 8 or 9am. Which means I have to decide between heading straight to the parks or checking in first.

Thanks for saying it's not boring. But I really do need to find something to talk about for the last month.... still trying to track down an 'Ohana reservation!

Clues are still going on Friday nights. The only one she has gotten so far is "HOT!!" Next up will be "Beaches" this Friday.

She is definitely convinced we're going South though after that first clue.

I'm glad you were still able to keep Disney a secret while convincing her that this vacation is a good idea.

I try for 'Ohana at least 5 different times a day on the website. I'm also in the "September Cancelled ADR" thread ready to pounce on anyone that is going to be cancelled for that night. Fingers crossed I'll be able to get one.

I thought you told me beaches would be better if it was 2nd? I think you're right. I'm moving beaches back to the end like you suggested originally. Next clue is Mountains.

Not if you're going to the southern part of the Rockies or camping in the Appalachian mountain chain in say like South Carolina.

I think hot and mountains are two great clues to start with. Thinking of how I would react, hot and beaches might point me to Florida pretty quickly. Hot and mountains would totally throw me off. Even as a Disney fan, I don't think I'd associate them right away. I can't wait to hear what she's thinking after you tell her!

P.S. Just for good measure, I googled hot and mountains vacations and a lot of hot spring mountain options showed up!

I'm sorry to disappoint all of you when it comes to the surprise but unfortunately while my parents, Hannah, and I were talking about the trip my dad let it slip out.

He said: "So what time to you plan to get to Disney?" and there was no saving it from there. I just kind of shot him a look like "Really?" and he immediately broke down. He cried a lot last night thinking about how much he ruined the surprise that I've been working on for so long and I felt bad for him more than I was upset. To be honest getting it out in the open takes a lot of pressure off as far as keeping that part a secret.

There is good news though! She is now MORE excited than ever to go on this trip. She is pumped about the fact that we are heading to Disney a 2nd time for a trip and she is 100% on board with missing those four days. I think my dad letting it slip has really allowed her to get excited for the trip instead of being left in the dark and not know what is coming. The other good news is that she still doesn't know what our plans are once we get there. So, the Trek and all of our ADR's and park plans are still completely secret and she is OK with that!

Now I REALLY don't know what to talk about till the trip comes.

I agree with the pressure being off you will allow you both to get really excited

Exactly! All of the details from where we are staying to what parks what days and ADRs are all a secret so she will still be surprised by those!

She's not a message boards type of person, mainly stays on FB and pintrest, so there is no risk that she will happen upon this thread.
