Making Good on a Very Merry Promise! COMPLETE!

Thanks for the "you talk too much to strangers" dance!

:lmao: :lmao: that's one I haven't heard before. Love it. And you're quite welcome! I KNOW I talk too much to strangers but, I have made quite a few great friends here so it's all worth it! :thumbsup2 Plus, who else are we gonna find that's as obsessed with Disney as we are?? :rotfl: :rolleyes1

Nicole!! You get your cast off today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Hope all goes well!

great update and pics. I tried to hide the kidcot from when we went but I did not succeed.

Yay, another update!!

Darn Photobucket

Still got to see some great pics!!!

Great pics!!

Can't wait to see who brings you to tears.

hmmmmmmm....Do they wear blue and white:confused3

I had to think about that for a minute! Nope, no dream team! They hid from us all week!

Loved the drive-by update! I didn't get a chance to see all the Santas! It makes me crazy, but I just can't hit them all at the right time. I keep forgetting that you had not been to WS before. Looks like you had a good start.
I'm totally stumped on what brought you to tears :confused3

We didn't even see one! The only Santa we saw all week long was the one in the parade at MVMCP! Maybe they were hanging out with the dream team!

My kids love the kidcot stops too and it's the little things like the doors that make Disney so great :goodvibes

I'm glad you liked my doors. The Christmas decorations are just so pretty... I wish they'd come decorate my house for the holidays!

Great "Doors around the World" update!:thumbsup2

Who brings tears to your eyes? Hmmmm.... I will guess.....:confused3 Sorry, I got nothin! I had an interesting encounter in the same area. Could we have had the same experience?! I guess you're going to torture us awhile!

BTW, this is MY 1500th post!

"Doors around the World"! :lmao:

I didn't realize that was such a big cliff-hanger! You'll probably be disappointed now!

great update Love! I must have missed this before I left work today. The door pictures are pretty. Too bad you missed the Canada Santa. I bet he is great.

can't wait to read the rest. Darn photobucket!

No Santas for us. :sad1: Maybe next time!

Nicole - :cheer2: for getting your cast off tomorrow!

Great update - love the door picutres! Too bad you missed the Canada movie - it is actually pretty good.

By the way, I will be in Raleigh area the first weekend of April for a baby shower - I'll keep an eye out for you.

Congrats to Monica and Nicole for your 1500th posts!

I really wanted to watch that movie! That's alright though... I like to keep that list of things to do next time.

I can just see you driving around Raleigh looking into all the cars to see if it's me! PM me if you need any help with directions, suggestions, etc.

Nicole!! You get your cast off today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:woohoo:

Hope all goes well!

:cool1: :woohoo: :yay: :woohoo: :cool1: IT'S OFF!!!!! And it looks NASTY!
I came straight home to get into the tub and scrub and shave my leg! Now I have a pretty boot to wear for the next month... but at least I can take it off! And I can drive as soon as I feel like I can. That right there deserves a dancing nanner!

great update and pics. I tried to hide the kidcot from when we went but I did not succeed.

I'm glad we did it but I do not plan to do it every time. It is basically all we did and just took in the sights from one station to the other. There is so much more there that I would like to do and see. Can't wait to see pictures of the kid's masks on your report then!

Glad you got the cast off and everything is good now that you're not all nasty on that leg anymore. I bet it felt good to finally clean it.

When do you get the stitches out?

When do you get the stitches out?

She took them out this morning. I was really nervous because they have been in there for a month and I figured they'd be all stuck! And there were so many! :scared: But it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. She did have me lay down though because last time I was there, a week after the surgery to have my cast changed, I almost fainted! I've never fainted in my life but I was surely about to! I think it was just the pain, the nausea from the pain killers and then seeing the incision... :faint:

I'm so glad to be rid of the cast though!!! That is the worst! So icky nasty. It feels good to be clean!!!

Hi Nicole,
I enjoyed your Epcot WS update. Waiting for the rest popcorn:: . Glad to hear you got your cast off and stitches out. I can relate to the fainting thing :guilty: it was proably just nerves.

hooray! no more stitches or cast all in one day! Glad you didn't almost faint this time. I probably would have had that reaction too. Good doctor taking the prevention of that happening this time by having you lay down. And I'm glad the stitches came out easier than you thought they would :thumbsup2 the anxiety is always the worst part of that kind of stuff.

I'm happy you don't have a cast either! :woohoo: hopefully this surgery fixed your problem and you will be able to not have pain walking through the parks on your next trip! :goodvibes

I'll have to second the dancing nanners for the cast coming off! Yay for you!

Like a Rockette's line!

Glad you didn't faint!

Sara

LOL! I will definately PM you with any questions as it gets closer. I'm looking forward to checking out the area - never been there before.

Yay for the cast coming off! Must have felt good to clean/shave that leg!

Hey, you should've taken a picture of your yucky leg. You probably could've found a hidden Mickey in all that mess!:rotfl:

How long before you know if it worked or not? Sending good thoughts your way!

Raleigh is a nice place! You will think you died and went to tree heaven!

And as for washing and shaving.... ugh... you have NOOOOOOOO idea! Unless you've ever gone a month without washing and shaving your leg from the knee down! It is not pretty. :sad2:

Hey Monica! You snuck that in while I was posting!

A hairy hidden mickey! :rotfl: So gross!

Well I do know already that I have not had the shooting pain at all since the surgery and I don't have any numbness in my foot ~ so we know my nerve is happy now. :) The discomfort I have now is just from the surgery itself. So I am pretty hopeful that it was sucessful. But I will still gladly take all the good thoughts ~ just for good measure!

Yay, you cast came off!!!

Glad you did not faint!!

Nicole, glad to hear you are doing well......now get some dinner cooked, clean house, get the laundry caught up.....WOMAN!!!!
Did you have funk-u-litus when they took the cast off?? It's something your sister always gets!!! Ask her about it!!:rotfl: She gives it some medical term!!!

I never knew they had Santas from every country......dang it....something else I have to do.....add it to the list...

Love the doors.........You didnt take any pictures of the kids holding the giant golf ball in their hand from across the lake-- Rookie mistake!!!!

Cya.....gotta go snowblow the *&*&$#@&*%$ driveway again!!!

Congrats on getting the cast off. Now starts the awkward period of you SCREAMING if anyone comes near you leg/ankle. :rotfl2: Don't worry, it will eventually go away.
Did you leg shrink a lot??
I'm so glad it's feeling better already!

Great update on the first part of World Showcase. Yep, that looks JUST like Niagara Falls!! I like the doors. Too bad you didn't get a picture of Santa. I always wanted to catch the British Invasion, but never got a chance to.

Darn photobucket! I wanted to read more!!!!!

Congrats on getting the cast off and the stitches out. So, how hairy was it??:lmao: Here's some dancing nanners from me, too.

I STILL have that problem with the incisions they put in my head. Not so much with the ones in my back, side, and stomach. But I'm very protective of my head. And I can still feel the holes they drilled into my skull. Gross, huh? I guess I'll always be able to feel them. I can't WAIT until my hair grows back. I have such a hard time doing anything with it. You should have saved some of that leg hair for me.:scared:

BTW. did you know hair extensions START at $482. Yeah, I think I'll just wait for it to grow back, thanks.
