Thank you all for voting! I chose ...................

neither option! I took all the numbers off and repostioned them so that now we have a 28 day countdown calendar! That left 2 mickey's at the end. On the second to last one I wrote "Leave for Gramma's" and on the last one I wrote "C'ya Real Soon Mickey!". Badda-bing-badda-boom, problem solved! Now there will be no twitching and no straight jackets!

Love your index card system with tips for the park - very nice! I use index cards too and file them by day in a coupon organizer. I wrtie down the park hours, adr's, must see's, etc. We're such organized dorks!

Hmmm.....if we go offsiteq, can I recommend Jeff's Foxworthy BBQ on I92 or whatever that main road is right near disney with tons of stuff.

The place is a hoot....The decorations in there are hilarious, duct tape and all..

Since you are going to be at Epcot, if you are going to counter service, I would probably do Starlight Cafe..I thikn that is what it is called....The one in Tomorrow land were the Robot sings

Here is an example of the food issues we have with these boys. This is conversation that took place with them yesterday.

Me: We're having tacos for dinner. Are you going to try them or what?
Evan: No.
Owen: No way Mom.
Me: I don't know what the two of you are gonna eat when we go to Disney! You've got to start trying stuff or you will never know what you might like!
Evan: Well, do they have chicken nuggets at Disney?
Me: Yes, some places do.
Evan: Do they have hot dogs?
Me: Sigh. Yes.
Owen: How about pizza? Do they have pizza?
Me: Yes, a few places have pizza.
Owen: I don't know what you're worried about Mom.
Evan: Yeah, they have food we like!

I have the same problem. Mine only likes pasta, hot dogs, mashed potatoes, and french fries. I told him the exact same thing about trying new things in WDW. He says he will, then we get there and I remind him what he said and he told me I was crazy.

Is it a boy thing? Abby eats most everything! And she is more than willing to try new things too! It's maddening! Owen will eat mac and cheese... but will not eat any other kind of pasta. Evan will eat pizza but, get this, with no cheese. He likes it with sauce and polka dots (pepperoni)! I have been laughed at by more teenagers working at pizza joints than I care to admit. Oh well, I was a picky eater as a kid too... probably not as bad mind you... and I grew out of it. Tom is STILL a picky eater. So I guess we have a 50/50 chance they will grow out of it!

Probably not just boys, cause I was really bad. I still am picky. I passed it on to him, I think, but he's way worse than I ever was. He used to eat pizza, but he wouldn't eat the pizza part. Meaning he'd just pick off the sauce, cheese, and pepperoni and eat that. Now he won't even do that. That's something I just don't understand.

I definitely think WDW needs to come up with more choices for kids than just chicken nuggets/fingers and mac and cheese at some of these counter service places. We had to stay away from some of them because of that.

This whole eating thing is why the free dining was not a temptation for us at all! We could've gone then because the kids were on one of their breaks but I figured they would just starve for free so what's the point?

Guess what!!! I heard "18 and Life" by Skid Row on the radio tonight. I immediately thought of my DIS friends on Nicole's thread! I hadn't heard that song in a long time!

Joining in the food conversation. I am very picky. Hunter is too. Some people complain about the kid's menu at Disney on the DDP, but it's perfect for him! Apples, grapes, mac and cheese. He'll be pleased!

Nicole, love your organization! I printed out menus the other day, and I will be putting them in a binder. We all need therapy!

Well, did everyone get their siggies figured out? My poor Woody was diminished to just a head! Tom helped me tinker with the whole thing and got it to fit in the new regulated area. I hope this means it is acceptable!

Man, it has been quiet here today!!! I didn't do an update today but I did play with my report a bit. I figured out how to link my updates in the first post! (Insert pat on the back here!) I hope this makes it easier for readers to get to them if they don't want to read the banter. Personally, I enjoy that just as much as the actual updates but I realize everyone else may not. SO... my pre-trippie is now very user-friendly!

I should be able to get another update written and posted tomorrow... so look out for that!
