I have seen this recipe before, but can't find it. I think you add eggs and oil to packaged cake mix, no water, but do not know the proportions.

Can someone help?

Thanks!

The recipe I have says 1 stick of butter (1/2 cup) and 2 eggs. Bake at 350 for 10 to 12 min.

Hope this helps!:D

1 pkg cake mix (yellow or white)
3/4 cup crisco melted and cooled
1 egg
4 Tbsp milk

Mix ingredients. Chill 2 hours. Roll onto floured surface. Cut with cookie cutter. Dough is flimsy.

Cook 6- 10 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet at 350-375.

They are flimsy cookies, but boy are they good.

I'm sure you can substitute any flavor cake mix :)
And add some "extras".

Thanks for sharing. I might have to give a couple of these a try over the long Hurricane Weekend.

stupid question (i'm not the best cook in the world)

when it says "cake mix"...does that include the WET ingredients listed on the box as well...or just the box and nothing more besides what's additionaly listed?

(told you it was stupid!)

Yikes
That is a GREAT question Stinkerbelle. I just assumed that you would use the cake mix and NOT the wet ingredients listed on the box.
So I hope you get an answer.
