Our Disney Dining reservations have not gone so smoothly so far. It started when our travel agent made all our reservations for us without any input. Never asked for a restaurant, what meals, character dining or not or anything. They just emailed us with our reservations. What a surprise. We went on to decide what we wanted and make our own reservations. We've added and canceled a few times. I must have talked to Disney Dining about 4 times.
Today I called to add a breakfast. I got someone who was great. Not only was she very friendly and personable, she helped me with problems that others wouldn't. She told me some things I needed to know that previous reservation/call-takers didn't. Then after discovering that previous reservation/call-takers didn't input the right number of kids for one of the reservations, she asked if I wanted to go through each of my reservations one by one, and so we did. We found several mistakes. One of the most significant was my 8:00pm reservation for California Grill. They had 6:00p.m. on my reservation. We would have missed our reservation, paid a fee for not canceling (it was secured by a credit card) and then missed the fireworks from the 15th floor. She fixed it today. They only gave us a high chair for a few of our reservation when we needed them for all of them. I had a reservation that I originally asked for 8 people. I asked a few days ago to change it to 7 people. The other day, that previous reservation/call-taker said they couldn't change the reservation to 7 but didn't explain why. I didn't think anything about it until I remembered that I would have paid a fee for not canceling that 8th person because it was secured with a credit card also. Well this woman today explained that it was because we were at an 8-9 person table. She changed us to a 7 person table and cancelled that 8th adult. There were many other things as well including wrong spelling of my name and wrong city for my address.
The woman I spoke with today was great. Very friendly, personable, helpful, and seemed like she absolutely wanted to make sure all of our reservations were perfect. She seemed genuinely concerned.
I had to ask her name. She gave me her first and last name. It was Millie M. (I won't give her last name ere on the board). She even made fun that she had the same initials as Mickey Mouse. We went through everyone of my reservations twice and when we were done I felt confident that everything was correct. She seemed happy to do it.
Who at Disney World would I make a comment to about her? Id like them to know they have someone special.
