Making changes to existing reservation

I am a new member and made my first DVC reservation on the website. there is a chance that I may need to shorten our trip by one day. is there a way to make this change online or do I need to call MS? I do not want to cancel the entire reservation and start over for fear there may not be availability after I do that. I have plenty of time in terms of my change/ cancellation window.

You will need to call MS, or you can email if calling is difficult. You cannot edit the reservation, but MS can.

You will have to call MS. And, when I have to do something like this or adjust dates, I call and say that I need to "modify" my reservation.

I want to make sure that the CM knows that I don't want it canceled, just adjusted. While this seems obvious, I have learned from others that one should take nothing for granted when it comes to MS.
