My boyfriend and I will be in a 1 Bdrm at AKV in a week! We both LOVE homemade brownies and I'm thinking that might be one of the items we actually make in the room. Should make us happy for week instead of OOP desserts....

Is there anything in the kitchen that can be used as a substitute for a 9x13 pan? I occasionally buy the disposable foil ones at home and could put one of those in my suitcase to avoid buying the pack of three they always seem to come in now. But I'd rather not pack it at all!

The list I've seen says the room has a casserole pan? What is that like? This is my first time in a 1 bdrm.

Here's a picture I took of the casserole pan when we stayed in July. We were in the Jambo House room 6202 (one bedroom-Conceirge Level room).

Here are the rest of my pictures. I didn't take any of the Kidani house as we weren't in that building. We never made it out to the pool either. So sad.... We need to go back and stay there again.

Wow - I love all your detailed photos! Thanks for the reply.

If you want a 9x13 - there's a good chance Housekeeping may have one they can bring to your villa - I'd call once you get there.

The oblong pyrex dish is very close to 9 X 13 and will work fine. I am a brownie snob and NEVER eat box brownies and almost never buy them in restaurants, etc. because they just are not like made-from-scratch. If I smell them baking in your room you can expect a knock on your door!
