Making AR's this week

Is anyone else having as much fun as I am making AR's? I've been at a stand-still in my planning for weeks now and this is making me more excited about our trip!

We got to make all of our AR's last week and I have to say it was pretty fun! Got everything we wanted except Mama Melrose because they stop taking AR's after 5 on the day we wanted it and that was just too early for us nightowls to eat a big Italian dinner. No problem, we switched our schedule around and replaced MM with CRT lunch so that was nice... Also, had no problem getting CRT for lunch, we pretty much had the pick of any time we wanted according to the CM.

Good luck with your AR's! It feels like we're making progress!

Use to be PS but was recently changed to AR. Not sure why though....

I beleive that it is advance reservation which used to be ps or priority seating!

not to rain on anyone's parade (thank you KcSmiles/Smilie for the info) but WHY did they have to go and change the name?

That's like "Let's change IASW to BRTTW (boat ride through the world) (or TMARE (the most annoying ride ever) hehehe) and pray people catch on"

This is my week for making AR's (PS's) also. I am having so much fun. This trip will just be me and my adult DD who lives 12 hours from me. So she calls every day to see how successful I was. I decided to send her an email this morning after I made my reservations. In reading it over before I sent it to her I was laughing at myself. I didn't realize how caught up in this I really am. Because I am an hour behind WDW I need to call at 6:00am. I really wanted an 8:00am AR for Donald's Breakfastosaurus so I wanted to be sure I called as soon as they opened. So I'm trying to figure out just when to start calling. I pulled the atomic clock off the wall in the bathroom and set it on the kitchen table. I started calling at 5:55 and hitting redial. I was amazed when they answered at 5:58. As soon as I punched in all the numbers the reservation agent answered immediately so I assume it was her first call of the day. Obviously I had no problem getting the AR I wanted. I think I'm getting so good at this I should attempt to get AR's for CRT. Except that we're not taking any little girls along so I wouldn't take that space away from someone who really wanted it. I've been doing this for three days in a row. Just four more to go. What will I do next week? Almost all of my planning is now complete. Just wait for park hours I guess and hope that I don't have to change everything once they come out.

So to everyone going the last week of September, GOOD LUCK this week getting just the AR's that you want! 88 more days--YAY!!!

I am having a blast too! By tomorrow I have to decide between dinner at CP or LTT. I like the looks of the menu at CP better, but I have 2 kids in my group who may never get a chance to visit WDW again, so I am thinking Minnie, Goofy and friends would be better. And this is the only charcter meal I am planning for them (they leave the next day). So torn!!!!

The worst is coming though. Tomorrow is my last day to "sleep in." I live in AZ so we are 3 hours behind FL; I want to try to get CRT for my DDs later in the trip, and that is going to require some early mornings! Ugh!
