My 180 days is tomorrow & I plan on being online at 5:45 am. My question is exactly how & in what order do I do things? I've tried to familiarize myself with the system to the extent I was able, but still have lots of questions and I don't want to use precious time tomorrow figuring it out. Would someone mind walking me through step by step & offering any advice you would have? Another poster said to keep a tab of each restaurant......how do you do that? Thank you in advance!! I'm so excited!!

At 180 days out, it'd be easier to call in and talk to a CM. The reason I say this is that it's sometimes hard to get the system to respond and allow you to make the reservations at 180+10, which is what I'm assuming you're doing. You'd be able to do your first day, but then it's a bit of a hassle to get the rest.

Have a basic idea of where you want to eat, at what days, and at what times. That's the best way to start. I make a whole chart with all of those things graphed in.

Your first reservations should be those that are most important to you or those that are the hardest to get...Fantasmic, HDDR, CRT, etc. Then just go down your list and pick them off one at a time.

You really won't have any trouble. I'm at about 100-odd days out and I'm still tweaking mine by changing times as it occurs to me that I might like something different, and I've had virtually no problems getting exactly the dates and times I want.

Book the most popular ones first -if you want Cindy's Royal Table ask for it immediately! Dont worry about the date order. I did my on the phone this past Monday because the computer kept freezing and they took all mine down and then gave me all the confirmations at the end.

If you're are at 180 days this weekend that means you are going during Free-Dining - so book now because things will book up quickly.

The online system is really quite easy to use. I used it on Wed. at 6:00. I tried getting on a little early but, it didn't accept the confiramtion until exactly 6:00! You could always begin using the online service at 6 and then call at 7:00 if you can't figure it out.
Make sure you have your confirmation number and credit card, in case you a doing a special meal/dinner. One little piece of advice, if you are reserving a Fantasmic package make sure that it CLEARLY states that it is the package and not just the restaurant. You can experiment with looking at closer dates and then not make the reservation, just so you know what it looks like.
I was able to make all my reservations by 6:30. We are going during a free dining week, so it does fill up quickly! Like the previous poster said start with the reservations that are most important to you.
I am glad my reservations are all set but, now we have to wait SIX months!! :worship: Hope this helps!

Thanks for the advice :)

Carabean.....do I click "I want to use my dining plan to make reservations"? and do I have to do that for each restaurant/date? Sorry to be so particular but everyone's telling my that the ones I picked go really fast! Thanks :)

Some other places to make your ADR first on your list:
Cindy's Royal Table - not alot of tables in the restuarant
Le Cellier - fills up fast for lunch & dinner
HDDR - if you want the first seats up front
Coral Reef - not alot of tables in the restuarant

IF you can not get Cindy's - then try 1900 Park Fair at the GF for dinner - you get Cindy, the Princess, the step-sisters, and I think the Fairy God Mother and the Wicked step-mom.

Another good place is Norway's breakfast - has lots of princesses, but no Cindy.

Check out the menu's before your 180 ADR date and see if you like what the resturant has to eat and the prices.

To use Dining Plan... click on link enter ressie number, last name, and the date of check in.

Note that when you do that you are associating the Dining reservations to that number if you have other hotel plans for this year you will need to disassociate the number and input new information.

Super easy and you can book F!DP (Book this first... my date is now sold out) and you can also book shows like HDDR.

Have fun!

you able to get all your reservations? Sorry that I didn't respond in time. Looks like there were others to help though. I hope it went well!:thumbsup2
