Making ADRs - I'm on DDP but paying OOP for CRT

I'm all set to make my ADRs in a few days, but I'm worried that I'm going to confuse the issue by asking to pay OOP for my CRT breakfast. When I call, do I just need to tell the CM that I'm paying OOP for CRT or should I do nothing and just let it be charged to my CC? Any advice? I'm sorry for the rather simplistic question but I want to make sure that I have all of my ducks in a row before making the call. Thanks in advance for the help.

You have to book with a credit card regardless of whether you intend to use the DDP, or pay OOP. It's not a problem to pay OOP if you have the DDP.
We did the same thing. You don't even have to go into mentioning the DDP with them.

If you are using the DDP then the credit card is used as a gaurantee in case you are a no-show. If you are paying OOP then your credit card is charged the full amount of the meal at the time of the booking. If you decide to cancel then you will receive a full refund credit to your card as long as you canceled within the guidelines. The CM will ask you specifically if you are DDP or OOP and the answer will determine how the credit card is used.

This is exactly the information I received from the CM when I booked our CRT lunch ADR in January. We are also doing OOP and I just paid for everything on my credit card. Just call, schedule, pay, and enjoy!!

If you don't want to pre-pay for CRT months in advance tell the CM making the reservation that you are on the DDP and just give them your CC# for the cancellation policy. Then when you go to CRT tell them you want to pay cash instead of using your DDP, this is what we did last year and it wasn't a problem.

This to me is the best plan. You are on the DP so your response is honest. Who knows, something could happen when you get to WDW and you have the credits to spend there. If not just pay at CRT.
