Uh Oh! Just out of curiosity I just checked the PS Calculator for my December trip, (in order to mark the date on my calender so I wouldn't forget to call). Guess what? My 90 days from the last day of my December trip falls on 09/19/05. I'm going to be in WDW Sept 17th-24th (driving down on 09/16/05) with my son and D-I-L. I really don't want to stay on the phone every morning during my Sept trip (or even just the first three mornings) making ADRs for my Dec trip. However in Dec. I'm taking my 73 y/o mother for her first ever trip to WDW and know the dining will be a big part of the trip for her. Also she is a very brittle diabetic who will not be able to wait much past her regular dining times to eat. What do you think my chances would be waiting until I got back to make Dec ADRs? That would be 83-84 days out. Anybody ever make ADRs for one trip, while you're still on the previous one?

No, not lucky enough to get to do that! I wouldn't think most of them would be a problem, but as always, if you want a popular one or a character meal, I would go ahead and call while on vacation. You can probably use the *-- number from the resort.

I remember reading on a post sometime earlier this week about someone making ADRS while at Disney for their next Disney trip, wish I could find it for you. (Arghhhh). What I remember that person writing was that they opened their eyes just before 7, rolled over, picked up the phone, hit the "dining" button on the resort phones, and were instantly connected to Disney dining. The impression I got from the post was that it was EASIER to make the ADRS from Disney than from home.

you can use the knife and fork button on your room phone if you are staying on property...:) Good luck!

You can also go to any resort Concierge desk (new name on these) at 7 am and make them. I have a friend that got Cindy's this way last week.

You can head to Guest Services at your hotel (in the lobby) and ask them to make them for you, or just hit the dining button on your phone.

Thanks guys! It doesn't sound like I need to wait until I get back to make our ADRs does it? I didn't even think about using the resort phone to call Disney Dining. I was thnking about using my cell phone, then having to wait on hold for an hour, then having to write all those PS# down, while my son and D-I-L were waiting for me. I would really like for my mom to have the experience of eating inside the castle, but otherwise have no idea what to book for her.

The Dec trip will be for her and we'll need to go slow, which will be difficult for me as I'm more the commando type. Even though she doesn't need one at home, at WDW she'll have to use an ECV as there is no way she can do the walking involved. She wants to see the Christmas decorations and look around the resorts, so we'll probably dine at the resorts alot, maybe seeing the shows, and doing only a few rides. She just wants to look around and enjoy the scenery with all the Christmas stuff up. I really didn't want to deal with details for the Dec trip though until after my Sept trip was over.
