Making a payment

Where do you go into your MDE to make a payment? I have looked and can't find anywhere. I am on an IPad, does that make a difference? Thanks in advance
 
It shouldn't make a difference on your iPad. To make a payment, go under your "My Reservations and Tickets" on MDE and then the payment option should be under "Disney Resort Hotel Reservations".
If you're using a TA then it won't be an option..only they can make a payment for you.
 
There is a problem with the site. Yesterday I tried to make final payment and had to call and do it on the phone. The option for making payments is not showing up on the site.
 
Also, if you have a RO reservation, that function is not available online. The payment button is only for package reservations only and like kashzan mentioned it is not showing up after their weekend upgrade.
 

Apparently, they are still having problems because I can't find the link I normally use to make a payment.

I'm glad to know this because I looked and looked and couldn't find a payment button!

I have a somewhat related question. I booked the Play, Stay, and Dine package and paid the $200 deposit when I booked. Does anyone know when the remaining balance is due? (like a certain time frame or can I pay it all when I check in?)

30 days before your check in date.
 
Is this still broken? I looked this evening and the link is still not there. I plan to make a payment soon and I REALLY don't want to call in!

Yup. I have zero confidence it will be fixed any time soon.
 
I emailed Disney about that and they Replied "Our systems group is working on adding this feature back to the online."

If it makes it any better you don't need to talk to anyone when you do it since it's all automated! It's pretty annoying though because it's a longer process than just clicking a few buttons online.

So are you saying I can make the payment via an automated system on the phone or does it begin as automated then I still have to wait for a CM?

It is completely automated. Once you say you want to make a payment, it will take you through step by step. I did it once and it worked fine.
 
I can't even figure out how much we still owe on MDE. Usually they list the balance...
If you call and say you want to make a payment it will list your balance due. You might even be able to just say "check my balance" and see if that works.

Totally automated. I didn't have to talk to anyone at any time during the process.
