Josh Groban's version of O Holy Night. Absolutely beautiful!

From Meet Me In St Louis, Judy Garland's Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.

(I have several, If I have to pick 1 - That's it - but as a substitute teacher, I love having a Christmas Playlist - and I have A charlie Brown Christmas album on it as well as Muppets (John Denver + Red and Green Christmas - Love Run Run Rudolph!! Well, dont get me started....)

Bing Crosby's "White Christmas".

All others just pale in comparison.

agree! i pointed out to my mom at target on saturday that it appeared to be the most expensive christmas movie- showing that it has stood up to the test of time.

im a fan of all the originals (or near original version) brenda lee rocking around the christmas tree, nat king cole the christmas song, and johnny mathis marshmallow world is a must have.

If you're looking for modern, less known songs, I like:

Faith Hill's "A Baby Changes Everything" and Point of Grace's "The Giver and the Gift".

My favorite this year is Deck the Rooftop- Glee Cast. It's from last year's Christmas CD. :santa:

The Christmas Can-Can by Straight No Chaser. I actually like all of their songs! :thumbsup2

There are too many to pick from but one that always makes me smile and think of my childhood is Dolly Parton and Kenny Roger's "I believe in Santa Claus"!

Merry Christmas Baby - Bruce Springsteen
Blue Christmas - Elvis Presley
Please Come Home for Christmas - Jon Bon Jovi
Father Christmas - The Kinks
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays - *NSYNC
Christmas to Christmas - Toby Keith
The Santa Claus Boogie - The Tractors
All I want for Christmas is You - Vince Vance and The Valiants

Bruce Springsteen's "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town"

Bob Rivers' "The Twelve Pains of Christmas"

Adam Sandler's "The Chanukah Song" - I know it's not Christmas and I don't celebrate Chanukah, but I love both this one and part 2!

I have so many but here are a just few...

Dominic the Donkey
O Holy Night by Perry Como or Josh Groban
Where are You Christmas by Faith Hill
The Best Gift by Barbra Streisand
The Lord's Prayer by Barbra
Okay, Barbra's entire Christmas album!
Santa Bring My Baby (Back to Me) Elvis
Rudy the Red Beaked Reindeer by Dean Martin
entire album from Charlie Brown Christmas
God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman by Bare Naked Ladies and Sarah McLachlan (sp)

Many of my other favorites have been listed, but I've always loved hearing "Mary did you know" sung by Kenny Rogers and Wynonna.

Two I can listen to anytime are
Believe by Josh Groban (from Polar Express) and
Driving Home For Christmas by Chris Rea

The Gift by Collin Raye and Little St Nick by The Beach Boys. It's not Christmas without either of those songs.
