I would be interested in the answer to this also as I have never heard of this but it sounds interesting.

The place is called goofys candy cauldron I believe. Im not sure about making candy bars but they do have a made to order section , where you fill out a form and then they make what you want. You can do dipped apples, pretzel sticks, marshmellow sticks, rice crispies and a few other things. First they dip them in chocolate, caramel or white choc...there might be more selections, then you can pcik toppings like oreo , butter fingers , sprinkles etc.

Oh and yeah it is over by rainforest cafe.

Yes thats what I was talking about . Someone posted about it a few weeks ago I just can not find the thread .

You pick a bottom the kind you want to dip it into and then the topping . She called it a candy bar and it sounded so yummy . I was thinking of doing this the first day we get there sence we are not going to the park .

Thanks for the details. Seems like something the kids would get a kick out of.

It's Goofy's Candy Co in DTD near Rainforest Cafe. My DD has done this twice. Once was marshmellows dipped in milk chocolate, with mini M&M's and drizzled in caramel. The second time was pretzel rods dipped in milk chocolate covered in chopped peanut butter cups. Both were awesome!

Yes, it is in what was formerly Disney at Home, a housewares store, across from the Christmas shop and next to RFC.

Today I got the marshmallows (3.95) and the huge Oreo (3.95) dipped in milk chocolate and drenched in crushed m&ms, reeces, and butterfinger drizzled with caramel! You fill out an order card and watch them make your treats! Yummy!

Also love the new Icee type drink they are selling with the interchangeable tops and bottome - Mine has a Minnie Mouse top and mickey's shoes! $8 with $3 refills!

I am just DYING to visit this place and dip anything and everything edible in chocolate and caramel. DH thinks the entire idea sounds "sicky sweet". I call it "sinfully sweet". DS can't wait for the experience! :hyper:
