Make sure you purchase your tickets or upgrade your AP before this weekend

My wife and I were just talking that we should probably buy our tickets soon since we know we will be going sometime in 2019 and we can get tickets before they increase. I guess we will be buying them sooner than expected!

I have a question:

I booked a room-tickets package for October.
I’m thinking if changing the length of tickets from 7 day to 6, will I be charged the new higher ticket price if I make that change?

Thanks.
Yes. Any change will result in paying the most recent price.

I saw a similar question but I'm not sure if it was ever answered. We have a room and ticket package booked starting 2/24 with 6 day park hoppers. I was planning on upgrading them to APs when we went to the park on the first time on 2/25. 1) Can I call and upgrade the tickets now to APs? 2) If I do will the start date be today, 2/24 or the first time we enter a park 2/25? I kind of need it to be 2/25 for our plans next year to work so if this isn't the case I would wait to upgrade them and pay the possible cost hike.

1) Yes, If everyone in your party wants an AP, you can call and change the tickets.

2) APs can never be activated unless you are physically at WDW.
They won't start "counting down" until you physically go to a ticket booth/Guest Relations to activate them
AND go into a park after that.

If I am planning on going in August, and want to by FL Res silver AP, can I buy them now, but not activate them until August (so my AP runs Aug-Aug)?

What is the usual increase on this pass?

Thank you. We both do want APs so I will call and do this today!

Need them 61 days out. My plan is to try Shades of Green and have them Shipped.
I saw a form somewhere that they can sign to attest to being active duty.

Missed this earlier, sorry.

Email advancedtickets@shadesofgreen.org.

They will send an order form (fillable PDF). Email that back with proof of eligibility (copy of military ID). They will call within a day or so for your credit card number, and ship them FedEx soon after that. You have to be there for delivery to sign. We got ours about a week after I sent the initial email. And they send activated tickets, no need to activate when you arrive.

Why would adding or dropping the dinning plan cause the ticket prices to go up?

Due to new ticket prices being in place, and changing the "package,"
may very well cause the "new" (current) ticket
prices to be included in the "new" package.

If no changes are made, the original package prices would be honored, even if there
was a ticket price change before the trip.

My Premier AP expires in June. Can I renew it this far in advance?

60 days in advance is the limit.
Except for certain rare "special cases" for "oddly-falling timing" of upcoming trips.
(Even then, the extension would be only a few days.)

If you DO NOT expect to USE your AP before June, it MIGHT be advantageous to
simply purchase a brand new full price AP (certificate) to hold until you do travel to WDW.

We renewed early last weekend expecting the increase to be any time. Glad we did.

Unfortunately we have a WDW trip over the week of Memorial Day weekend :/ and we use the AP here at DL all the time. But yesterday I was able to warn everyone else in our group so they have now locked in :)

I was able to change my reservation to a room only and keep the discount price and get annual passes. They also refunded my memory maker and waived the $50 fee for changing my reservation within 30 days of my trip. It did require an hour and a half on the phone.

So frustrating. I need just a one-day ticket for my Christmas trip. But Disney hasn't released the seasons for December yet. I have no idea what ticket to buy. I have the money ready to buy but can't. Guess I'll be paying more now!
