Make sure you purchase your tickets or upgrade your AP before this weekend

You can always try a third-party seller who may still have the old tickets in stock.
Hmm, do they, someone like UCT, actually sell AP's? I thought they just did up to the ten day tickets? We have bought the bigger ticket in the past and upgraded when we got there but we are hoping to possibly get a good AP discount so we'd need it sooner to be able to use that. Plus I had planned to use Disney gc's. I have enougfh of those, but not enough to purchase an AP with cash.

But thank you for that suggestion, good but for the discount and gc's issue, lol!

Where did you see these prices quoted?

I saw it on WDW News Today or WDWNT on twitter. ETA: think they were only referencing WDW and not DLR there.

The WDW AP I wanted, I think platinum maybe? Was $779 going to $849, up $70 plus tax!! To me, that's outrageous! Just as the others I saw mentioned above, for DLR. I know the prices they quote may not be accurate, not coming from Disney themselves, but I'm betting they are.

WDWNT only posted about select WDW APs and tickets and the premier pass on their website. No one has posted about the DLR APs which where posted above that is of note such as WDWNT, etc. I found a random Twitter account that had a screen shot list which no source attached to it that had the prices that were posted above.

Oh sorry, didn't notice those were in reference to DLR and not WDW.

Send an email via the Disneyworld.com contact form so it's time stamped NOW. No guarantees but just say you were trying for an hour or two well before midnight and it wouldnt work and see if they'll help you out tomorrow. It's worth a shot. Sending it now is at least evidence you were actively trying before the price change. My guess is that someone with magic powers will come through for you.

Good morning, DISboards.

The New 2018 Walt Disney World Ticket Prices are up on the WDW site.
AP prices also increased HERE.

"2018" CURRENT Prices can be found on the WDW website HERE.

"2017" Prices (Feb. 12, 2017 thru Feb. 10, 2018) from archived Allears page HERE.

"2016" Prices (Feb. 28, 2016 thru Feb. 11, 2017) from archived Allears page HERE.

The significance of the THREE unique price-level dates above will become clear only after more research about the 2018 increase.
I will be updating the 2018 UPGRADE info as I learn more.

Interesting - if this is accurate (and I understand you're repeating what you were told), activation of an AP voucher within 18 months is not something that's appeared in the fine print.
And it is not consistent with what I was told by a CM online. (Yes, I kept a transcript of the chat, just in case.)

AAA is the only third party that sells AP's

Wow that is a crazy price jump for a Platinum AP! $70! We just got ours in December but I think this jump would have convinced us not to do it. It was steep before!

I’ve never had a dedicated DLR, but we did premiere a few years ago and it was like $800 or $900 (which made me want to vomit at the time.) Now that’s the price for just WDW!

Crossing my fingers that my travel agent successfully put in my package reservation last night. She had my go ahead to book at 2:45 pm, but said I wouldn't get confirmation for 2-3 days. Anyone ever been in a similar situation?
