Make and model vehicle

we have all Toyotas now, we will likely never buy another make/brand. In the past we have owned Buick, Chevy, Kia, and I think I am forgetting one, but the Toyota vehicles, by FAR, had fewer problems...honestly did not have any problems with Toyota, just the standard things you need to maintain, or things needing to be replaced after driving it for 15 years lol. When my Toyota Sienna mini van gives out, I will probably get a RAV4 like my husband has

Perhaps we were an outlier, but I wasn't happy at all with our toyota camry solara - all the bearings went before 70k miles, the transmission was gone at 115k, fuel pump died....and there were a few other fairly large repairs that hit - I can't remember at this point, but at the time was surprised it was happening to a Toyota. We did all the required maintenance and it was low mileage for its age, so not sure what the issue was.

Reading on the camry forums now that a bunch of 2018-2020 camry owners are dealing with a frustrating transmission and an electrical problem the dealers can't seem to fix.

My 2018 transmission is jerky

My husband bought a 2020 rogue today. Used with 3500 miles. Certified. Hopefully it will last a long time.

Oh that’s a bummer, I’m sorry :( We have not owned a Camry, only a Corolla (two, one was my first car as a teen, the other DH’s first new car), a Sienna, and a RAV4

I have a fully loaded 2017 Subaru Outback and I LOVE it. It's the second one I've owned (it replaced a 2013) and I will absolutely be trading it in for another, probably next year. I have a TON of space, and it drives like a car. Plus, it's considered a station wagon for insurance purposes :)

Not only do I love my car, I love my dealership, which is a big thing for me. I previously owned a Mini Cooper, and while I adored the car, the dealer was crap. There was something very wrong with the battery/alternator/whatever - I went through I think 3 batteries in 3 years. The dealer told me they went bad because it was hot in Florida. Uhhh, okay. They were unwilling to figure out what the actual problem was. I traded it in and have had no problems with my new dealer.
