Make a Wish Family, anyone else?

Hi! My son (age 6) was just approved to go on the Dream July 4-8 as his make a wish. Any other MAW families going? Any advice from previous MAW families? I can't wait until they tell him at his big reveal party! I'm so excited!!!

I would suggest heading over to the Cruise Meet board and chatting up those who are on your specific cruise.

I am so excited for you and your family. Make a Wish is an amazing organization. I wish your son (and family) a fabulous trip and hope that it is a celebration of good health, recovery, remission, etc.

Omg! My daughter was 7 during her MAW on the Wonder in 2010. Our 1st cruise ever. Most awesome experience!!! They go above and beyond! Taking care of every detail. Because of that 1st experience we are going on our 4th DCL in Oct.
I originally thought the service we got was because of the MAW but from the cruises after it was pretty much the same attention. Like cutting her steak, etc. Just alot more perks with the 1st. Also there were 3 Disney stars on board so it was even more awesome that she got to hang out with them. Not sure if it was just being in the right place at the right time? She had cancer but the only "sign" of it was a bald head under a hat. So like I said, not sure if luck or someone knowing.
