It is all good.

Some of our lights just get "stuck" on. I seriously do leave my browser open most of the day with something from the DIS - so it does look like I spend 20 hours on the DIS. I really don't.

Yeah, I think my light is just stuck on cause right now Im actually washing clothes and dishes and scrubbing the toilet . I dont know why the light is on everytime I look at it...... weird huh?

No joke...I spent the entire evening cleaning. Really. I can see the floor in my bedroom!
Nevermind that I only cleaned it because my friend from FL is coming to crash at my house this weekend. If she had not needed a place to stay...I may not have ever seen my floor again! It is all the DIS's fault.

Now I just have one more day until she is really here...so I gotta clean the rest of my house!

So...if my green light isn't on...at least you guys know why.

Im glad you can see your floor, Ive been trying to get to all of my floors. Knowing I wont really be home for a coople of weeks stresses me out and to top it off........

's room to now I have teams assembled for soooooo many things!!! I am so friggin excited. Now I have 1 major problem.... I need to extend the trip!

The awesome part to extending would be this though.... coming home on the 18th again! Its a special day already. I think I shared this story so let me go back and find it to be sure lol.

The question is...really...how do I keep up with my work and the DIS! THAT is the question. How on earth the "numbers" at work are better than they have been in years?? Maybe I just have motivation to FINISH my work. And it helps that at two of my jobs I have tons of internet time between helping Rachel and Lauren.

And having no kids helps, too...ya think?!?!

Maybe I just have motivation to FINISH my work. And it helps that at two of my jobs I have tons of internet time between helping Rachel and Lauren.

I was thinking this before, and I hope you don't find it too presumptuous, but you are a total mother Maroo! During all the years that I wanted kids and didn't have them yet, I absolutely hated it when people said things like that. I hated Mother's Day, I really did. People would say, you can still be a mother to the kids at church, in your neighborhood, blah blah blah. I didn't like hearing that because that's not the way I wanted it, to be honest. But I think in some cases, it is totally true. You may not have a mother's life 24 hrs/7 days but you have a mother's heart, a mother's fight and a mother's instinct. You're awesome!

I really don't get bothered at holidays...I probably should, but I really don't. I am pretty happy where I am. I recognize the major amount of freedom I have...to travel (hello Disney!), be around people when I want to be and be alone when I want to be. It really is sorta nice.

You are so sweet. I definitely feel like a second Mom to a few sets of kids and it is a great place to be...sorta like a Grandma, but young enough to really "play" and be able to physically take care of them, too.

And it is neat to be able to give the parents that are worn out a break - so I get "double" blessing - if that makes sense?

I really appreciate you saying that! I will remember that the next time it does bother me to be sitting at home by myself.

We want to take Tessa to see her first in-theatre movie when Princess and the Frog is released. I'm thinking first matinee of the day on the 11th. Has anyone ever gone to the first showing of a Disney animated movie? Is it crazy? Can I pre-order tickets? I'm kinda new to this Disney craze, believe it or not.

A couple weeks ago I was trying to get some dining reservations and having trouble because the website wasn't letting put my childrens' ages. It would not proceed past that point so I had to call instead. It's still doing it to me, but I figured it out. In case anyone else comes across the problem...It seems to be related to some type of popup blocker. Usually I am alerted when a popup is blocked so I can unblock if necessary but not for this site. I use Googlechrome. When I had trouble with another website I figured it out and came back to try it on Disney. I used a regular internet explorer window and the age menu came up first try! Grrrr. I wish I had figured that out before...

Hi everyone just stopping by to say hello. Im still waiting to hear from our wish granters about our dates and stuff. I went and done some christmas shopping cant get much because when our behind on our house payments when keith was in the hospital this last. So trying to get some little stuff.

I have a question i was looking on the big give site and my kids was standing by me my girls loved the dresses i was wondering if i could buy a few off those people for my girls i cant afford much but a litle?

Ok soo...I need sum advice DisFriends...
I am my family's trip planner for my sister's Wish Trip in December. We just got our Itinerary for the trip yesterday and it gave us a meal budget for inside the parks. I told my parents that we might need to stay in the parks to eat lunch and maybe dinner on sum nights. Am I right? It seems more logical to stay in the park to eat rather then travel 1 hour to and from GKTW? I mean go all the way back there just to eat lunch. That means we have to load everyone (there are 8 in my family) in the car, drive for 30 min, unload everyone, go eat, load everyone, and drive another 30 min back to the park...

Here's the deal with the GKTW food. It might be a little confusing so ask me if I'm not making any sense.

The main restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner. There is also Katie's Kitchen (Boston Market) which is open from 11 am - 9 pm. And there is also pizza delivery in the evening. But there is no real option for getting a lunch in the morning to take with you. They do have a few options at the ice cream shop in the morning (like bagel breakfast sandwiches) which you could conceiveably take with you to the parks--and than still eat your big breakfast at the GIngerbread House.

One other option would be to order Katie's Kitchen the night before (meatloaf, chicken tenders, chicken, mac and cheese, etc.) and take it with you the next day. The only issue would be that you can only eat one dinner, so if you're already eating at the Gingerbread house the night before you couldn't get Katie's too (unless you could get it between 11-4 when it would be considered lunch--and at lunch it is sandwiches, etc.). But if you were already eating out the night before you could come back and order food and take it with you the next day.

Am I making any sense??
